Clomid Buddies for 11/27/11

Hi Ladies!!! I am starting Clomid tomorrow cycle day 5-9 , 50mg. A little bit about me! My hubby and I have a 2 yr old daughter, who was conceived by Clomid 25mg, HCG shot, and IUI. My first cycle was successful! Now 2 yrs later, I am trying just clomid 50mgs, and cycles induced by Provera. Anyone else starting tomorrow 5-9? I am nervous this time, and have been just praying that this works for us. I am also new to this site, so hello everyone.

yayayay im so happy for you ladies!!!!!/....i still dont know whats going on with me. I test BFN on my preg. test. My MD wont give me a blood test until Jan. 3rd..so I am waiting. Still no AF. your BFP gives me hope!!! keep us updated on your progess!!! :)

i went and got the digital one tonight lol… and did it and showed him….i think he's at peace..however he still wont let me tell anyone on facebook yet! not until i go to the doctor…lol

I had to go get one that said pregnant or not pregnant for the second test just for my hubby's sake. He didn't trust the line test! Yahhh! Congrats and I hope that the blood test show us the same thing!

I took five pregnancy tests this morning on first morning urine, and they are all BFP my husband doesnt belive me b/c its not a normal pregnancy test like EPT or whatnot, however, i ordered these ones over EBAY, and tried them and they came back positive… : )

Tested just a minute ago and got a BFP! I think I ovulated late. My doc told me on CD 21 that he didn't think I ovulated because my level was at 4 (it was at 1 last month without clomid) I think I ovulated on CD 21 because of my temp drop. I am on CD 33 and almost a week late for AF. Had already tested twice and got BFNs. I passed the tests today at the store and thought "Why not." Grabbed one and just took it! BFP!!! Amazing Christmas gift! Baby Dust to all!!!!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 14...in 2005 I had a non-stop period for over 10 months that literally almost killed me...had to have blood tranfusions...at that time my doctors decided to put me on the depo shot to try and stop the bleeding and it didnt work...so they gave me the shot every month and it still didnt stop the bleeding so they gave me the shot every 2 weeks...now if I want to have a period I have to take provera...I went through 4 rounds of Clomid, each round a higher dose then the other with no luck...I've recently started seeing a fertility specialist and have taken 1 round of Letrozole and I go back in january for another round..had to take november and december off due to cyst and complications from a blood clotting disorder...no one in my family has had trouble getting pregnant...at all!!! they dont understand how it feels to see them with their children and your trying so hard for that...

Yahh! Sending baby dust your way! I pray that you get a dark line and can celebrate! Hearing things like this gives me hope! I am jealous that you did not have any symptoms because I thought my DH was going to kill me because I had the house freezing at night! Please keep us updated!

Update: I never had any side effects like hot flushes...am so symptom-free of all kinds I even wonder if anything happened?! :P

Hey, I am 28, and tryin for my first baby.
My doc put me on Clomid this month of my cycle and I have PCOS. Wel, my next period got a week late (first time in my life - I am a regular 28 to 30 days cycle). Tested slightly positive for preg last week. Am going to take the tet gai tomorrow. If it turns out positive (with a dark line this time!) then will contact my great Doc and it will be my 6th week (if...!). Fingers crossed and lots of baby dust to all!

i've been having twinges on my left side. I went for a sono today, and i havnt ovulated, I do have two follicles one @ a 20 and the other 16 1/2. so he went ahead and advised me to do the ovidrel trigger tomorrow at 9 am and then dh and i have some work to do : ) lol…

It could possibly be that your getting ready to ovulate. I know that i always start getting weird cravings…which started today..

I don't know if it is just me but I have been having cramp type things for almost a week on and off. Today I had a pinching feeling in (TMI) my cervix area. I am not sure what any of this means but I go on Monday to have bloodwork done to make sure I O'ed. Is anyone else having the same symptoms or am I just an odd ball like always!? :)

I was going to Dr. Murat at the fertility center of IL in highland park, IL . I loved my dr. Sorry Ladies I have been not feeling too well, I Have horrible hot flash and crazy pain on the right side!!!! ...today I am on cycle day 13. my temps has been staying around 97.5....on cycle day 11, my temp was 99.0 so I am unsure if I ovulated..I was so sick with hot flashes, I didnt even use a opk. I go back to my dr. next week for testing....I dont know if I could have ovulated on cycle day 11, but I BD every other night...so..

It very well could be. I've been using the OPK i started the first one today after checking the calender link you posted. I have not had any cramping, and i go back on the 7th which would be day 10 for me to check to see where i'm at.

Ok girls, are you having the same thing happen to you?

I have had small cramps all day off and on.They have been very slight and only last for about 30 seconds. I am 13 days into my cycle. Do you think this is a sign of ovulation?

I'm on Clomid and I have not had that problem, I would say its the mucinex but I would ask the doctor to be sure :)

They called me back today, and i go back on the 7th for another s/g to see if the follicle has grown and for "pre conception" blood work. I have no idea what they are testing for there, but we'll see!

Marten2009: Yahh! That's great and I pray that it gets bigger and you are able to have the HCG trigger shot soon!

Everyone: I wish that I could chart my temps but lucky me I have a cold. My temps are already low at 96.7 normally but they have ranged from 98.6 to 95.3 the other day. So lucky me I can't chart :) ohh well! I am not sure if it is because all I can take for my cold is Mucinex or if it is just what Clomid is doing to me but (this is TMI so sorry!) I have been dry! Has anyone else experienced this? If so how do you fix it?! I am at 11 days past my pd and worried about this!

Went to the doctor today for a u/s. The tech that did it said that i have 15 follicles on each ovary : ) but there is only one that 10mm. They are supposed to call me back today with the doctor says : ) fingers crossed that when i go back next week everything is ok!

I'm taking 1500 of Glumetza (metformin) and 50mg of clomid. However, my metformin is because i'm now border line diabetic BOO! So now i've started a new diet. I went in and had a ultrasound done on saturday and made sure everything was fine before i started the clomid. I go back on Friday december 2nd to have another ultrasound done to make sure everything is ok, and then he will tell me when i can do my ovidrel trigger shot. FIngers crossed that this works!!!!!!!!

No I am not doing the HCG shots. I started out taking Metformin for my PCOS and it worked because I got pregnant the first month of taking it. It was a tubal pregnancy so I had to have it removed luckily only with the shot. My doctor wants to make sure I am ovulating so he has me on Metformin and Clomid. He tested my progesterone on day 21 and said it was low but my cycles are 30 days not 28 so I think that it was low because it was taken too early. If this combo doesn't work then we will change it but we will have to wait and see!!!

Hello!!! Im starting clomid today for the first time! A bit about me..fiance and i have been trying to conceive our first child for almost 2 yrs. Did tons of bloodwork, sperm counts, hsg..all came back normal. I have been charting my bbt as well over the last year or so..apparently my problem is that i dont always ovulate. I wasnt expecting to be able to start clomid until next week thinking my cycle would have started then..but it came yesterday..im hoping the first round of clomid works and by christmas we will be pregant..what a present that would be!!! I hope this happens for all of us soon!!! TONS OF BABY DUST TO YOU!!! :)
