Confused with PCOS

I am 27 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. My husband and i have been trying to conceive for the past year. I have a regular cycle which varies from 30-35 days and have no other symptom like acne, excessive hair growth or obesity. My doc put me on Metformin so i have started it since the past month but i am still confused if i actually have PCOS or not. Also if i could get any diet suggestions which could improve the chances of conceiving.
Thanks

I would suggest losing any weight that you have and staying away from complex carbs like white rice, potatos and sugar. Even if you aren't overweight they can still wreak havoc on your fertility. Try and stick with whole grains....

Pcos can be strictly hormonal which mine is also. just because you get your period every 30 to 35 days does not mean your pcos has gone mine was like that too until this month.  it means that you have cysts on your ovaries and /hormonal imbalance and the eggs you produce may be weak and unable to be fetilized.  In any event I was given provera tostart AF to start clomid for mature eggs.
