Endometriosis and IVF

Hi All,
Has anyone had success with IVF and stage IV Endometriosis?  I just had two grade A embroyos transferred and I've heard endometriosis can effect implantation. They were the only two eggs that fertilized and developed to an acceptable level so I'm ultra nervous things might not work out :(. Any stories of similar experience would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Megan

Did you have a laparoscopy to alleviate some of the endometriosis?  I had endo stage II- and had the lap to correct.  I did IVF after that and now am pregnant with twins. I know my endo was not as bad as yours.  Thought I share some positive outcomes from someone who has had endo. Wish you the best.

I had a laparotomy two years ago, which was when they were able to diagnose the endo. We tried on our own for 6 months prior to this cycle and I've had some ovarian cysts reappear during that time period.  I'm hoping the surgery was thorough enough to last a while :)

Congratulations on the twins! I'm glad to hear it worked out for you. Thank you for sharing and for the good wishes.

I have been diagnosed with Asherman's, which is when the uterine lining attaching to each other (old dnc from over 20 yrs ago, from m/c) I am getting ready to do a second Hysteroscopy to remove a single band that has re-appeared.  I am so nervous that it will effect my chances of conceiving also.  I had a m/c last Aug, and that's when they did the first hysteroscopy and discovered the Asherman's.

I pray that your little embies attach and hang in there for the whole 9 months!!!  GOOD LUCK!!!!
