Fertile CM

I am on day 9 of my cycle and I am having fertile eggwhite like cervical mucus.  However, I normally don't get that until at least day 13 or as late as day 16, and I usually ovulate on day 17 or 18.  Does this mean that I am going to ovulate earlier this month?  My husband is out of town and I really don't want to miss a month!

it's very possible.  are you charting your bbt?  was there a drop yet?  the first half of your cycle can vary quite a bit.

I have been charting my bbt and I usually ovulate when it is closer to the 97.3 range and it was 97.55 this morning.  But I also don't always have a drop so that is a hard thing to judge it by.

when it comes to cm, you have to ASSUME that you are fertile-especially if you don't trust your temps.  i hope your hubby gets home soon enough.  :)  i know all about that, lol.

EWCM is clear indication that the estrogen levels in your body started to raise. This happens before LH and O. So you should consider yourself fertile if you see a lot of them and if it is increasing. Wish you luck for the hubby to be home on time and SSBD.

Thanks for the help.  I am going to keep my fingers crossed that it is a fluke and I will ovulate at the normal time.  My husband doesn't get back until Friday.  My ovulation has been a few days late before, but never early.
