Follistim Inj followed with an HCG question

So I have tried Clomid, leterzole, with no luck!! Doc wants me to try follistim with an HCG.. Has anyone had success with this.. I am kinda scared to try it!! I don't want 3 my first time!! LOL just one to start off with.. me and the Hubby have been trying for three years know. Doc says I have PCOS...

I used Foilistim as well and it worked great. I produced 26 eggs, transferred two via IVF and am pregnant with one (the dr did think this pregnancy started off as twins though). I used Menopur as well.

Im currently on follistim for round two of ivf along with menopur. It works great. First time I had 21 eggs and today it looks like I have around 20.  I also have pcos. I don't know how it works with IUIs... I would emagine the dose would be much less. I take 225 follistim and 75 menopur.

I had Follistim with the HCG trigger and produced 11 retrivable eggs on my first cycle 2 of which we had put back and 1 in the freeze.  I am currently pregnant with twins. So I think that the follistim and HCG trigger is awesome. I did have issues with the pen itself but I hear alot of other women had no issues with injecting the pen. I ended up having my sister an RN come give me my daily shot and that worked wayyyy better then self injecting.  Hope that helps and Best of Luck

we werent actively trying but werent preventing it either for two years. Then we actively tried without meds for over a year.(if that makes sense lol)  We did the meds and it worked first cycle.

I had letrozole(femara) and follistim and only had 1.  They should monitor you so you know how many follicles u produce before u do the hcg shot.  Good luck.
