I to had 3 positive OPK's in a row. Starting on 4-16-12, 4-17-12, 4-18-12, and today I tested negative 4-19-12. I am wondering if me and DH needs to BD tonight cause on 4-17-12 we BD but he couldn't ejectulate for some reason.
im also using clearblue opk's with the smiley faces and this is the 3rd day running i have a positive. im also having follicule tracking and the sonographer said she thinks i may posibly ovulate two eggs this month one from each ovary, so i guess that could be why im getting positives 3 days running. keep me posted :)
I used the clear blue easy with the smiley faces for pos. Then a circle for neg. On cd 13 neg. Cd 14 pos. Cd 15 pos. Cd 16 fmu neg. Cd 17 neg. Fmu then bad ovulation pain on right side tested again on cd 17 about 9 pm and positive wtf is goin on with my body its weird never got pos. This long not on any fertility need. Used pre-seed and instead soft cup on cd 13 and 14 and just did the pre-seed and instead soft cup again tonight on cd 17.
I had the same thing happen with the answer brand. Three days of pos opk. I just did lots of bding for those few days and a couple after. Apparently it worked!

I use Clearblue Easy Digital OPK's and I have been feeling the ovulation cramps since Wednesday morning. I had a negative Wednesday adn Thursday . But then on Thursday night I got the smiley face. And this morning I tested again to see if the surge was still there and still had the smiley face. And this month ovulation is much sooner than normal so I hope that means that this month will be a positive instead of a failure like it is every month. My cycles are normally 32-34 days long and usually don't detect ovulation until cycle day19. We have been trying for 3 years 2 m/c one in 7/2005 and 3/2008
I also used answer brand and this is my 3 day of positive, i'm currently on CD 13 of a 27 day cycle
I use the same OPK brand (from walmart) and I got 3 +opks last month. My doctor said that it's normal. The 24hrs is right before you Ovulate (usually) and so it just depends on when you ovulated and when you test.
Hi, I am facing the same problem with opk. like, i am getting 3 positives since 4 months and i am on clomid100mg since 3 months. I really dont understand but now i think it is due to Answer brand. This is the last time i am using this brand. thanks gls !!!
I meant to say, I guess I'm in the TWW! Sorry!
Well, yesterday, it was finally negative (but barely). My temp was up this morning (went from 97.1 to 97.8) so hopefully at least one of the days was right and the temp will stay up! DH and I bd'd for the 5 nights prior to yesterday so I guess I'm not in the TWW! I'll be letting you know if I get the BFP :) Thanks for all the info!
I just started using the Answer brand - today will be my fourth day. The first two days, I got light, skinny test lines. Yesterday I had a dark line that was thicker and the same color as the other line - I was so excited to get the positive! I'm planning to test again today to see what it shows - Yesterday was CD11 (I hav 26 day cycles). I'll let you know if I get more than one positive day in a row...
My doctor said 2 days are common, from getting a reading on the way to the surge and a reading on the way down from a surge. It mentions that on the insert with the opk as well. I will ask her again today about 4 days of positive and post again tonight :)
Answer is in the pink box. I actually used them the last time I got pg (last March but m/c at 6 weeks). I haven't used them since. I used Clearblue one month, which was pricey and the lines confused me, so I bought a bunch of the online sticks and last month never got a positive even though I was on 150 mg of Clomid. I o'd on 100 mg so I'm not sure if I missed my surge last month but my temps never sustained a thermal shift either so I guess I didn't O. So hopefully with this month I will o even though I'm off the meds for a month. My husband says I'm a different person than I have been the last 5-6 months, which is probably why he is so willing to bd so often~LOL! I would love to get that BFP this month!
I got 4 or 5 days of positive OPK's last month with the answer strips. This month I used CBE ones and only had one day of positive. I don't think I will buy Answer ones again.
According to my OBGYN nurse practitioner, a woman only ovulates for 12 hours, so I don't think a 2 or 3 day positive test can be accurate.
Oh and also, the internet OPK that I got on Ebay didn't work, the control line didn't even work. Only store bought good brands work for me, clear blue, first responce. I am trying the dollar store OPK this month.
Last month I had 3 days of positives, the month prior I had 2...I heard that two days could mean it detected it on the way up and then again on the way dowm, but not sure why more than that? Maybe high LH ?
Is Answer in the purple box? I forget the name, I think that is the one I used, yes I got 3 very definite positives. I read today on fertilityfriend.com that if it just happens to be the right time at the beginning of surge and a large surge you can get 3 pos. They put my o, from their computer on the middle day.
I also bought on line cheapos. Didn't have them for first 2 days but it did show 2 equal lines on 3rd day. They don't send instruction. By now you'd think we'd all pee'd on enough sticks to know all(even though we still read the paper 10x with a new pack, lol) I found, at least w/my cheapos, you have to dip way past the line to get a result.
Sorry, but the internet OPK's SUCK, MAJORLY. I will only get a positive if I happen to test on the right day at the right time. If I use Clearblue or a reliable brand of an OPK then I will get +'s for a couple of days. Also, the month I conceived I got a + for two days, negative for two days, and then positive for two more days. I was on clomid and I O'd twice. GL!
