I"m so sorry to hear that .. ugggh its all so frustrating.. and it is impossible to not think about how much we want it so badly everytime a friends baby turns one, two etc.. in the years that we have just been trying and trying! i also had a period while on the pill when they were trying to get rid of cysts. so i just stopped the pill, as they told me to.. i have heard of people doing IVF without doing the pill first, could you do that? good luck! your in my prayers!
That's what my RE wants to do, she wants to do some bloodwork in a couple of weeks to figure out where I am in my cycle, and then on my next cycle they will start but without the birth control, she said it's messing up my system more than it is helping. Thanks so much for your support and kind words, I am sure you can understand how much it means.......good luck to you!
I'm so sorry about the cancelled cycle. I'm one of the women who will be doing IVF without birth control first. I have Factor V, which puts me at a higher risk of developing blood clots, so my RE wants me to do a natural cycle, then start lupron after ovulation has been confirmed. Of course, we'll have to be careful not to BD around ovulation time...not that it has brought me too much luck in the past, but still...
Good luck with all the tests. Hopefully you'll be able to start your IVF soon!
Oh I'm so sorry. I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. Getting all geared up and then to have to wait some more. Sounds cruel. I'm sorry.
p.s. birth control always mad me crazy the first month.
Thank you all so much for your support- the whole situation just stinks, it seems like everytime we take a step forward there is something else to get in the way- I'm hoping it will all be worth it in the end.
Thanks again, and I wish you all the best of luck and SSBD!
Oh I am so sorry you have another wait in front of you. That's so frustrating for you. I just wanted to say hang in there - you will get your BFP.
I was in a similiar situation, and I know how bad it feels to have to postpone an IVF cycle. Just when you think things are finally going to happen, something goes wrong and you have to wait. I was supposed to start the stims for IVF at the end of January, but the lupron gave me a huge cyst! I had to wait three weeks for it to shrink and for my bloodwork to go back to normal. It was a rough three weeks, but I made it through and I know you can too! Try to stay postive! I finally started the stims three days ago, and if having to wait those few weeks is the only hiccup on the way to our BFP, then I'll take it! I wish you comfort and peace in the time being, and keep me posted on how things go for you! If you ever need to vent, I'm here!
