All is well here- mostly. I had an episode in my head when a drug rep came in to tell us she was pregnant and that was followed by an emailfrom a friend w/ the same news. Then I thought- my time is coming- I just have to be patient and keep trying. I am just so ready.

@Hoping2BAMom- lol. I would drive you NUTS!

I'm gonna keep up with this one .... even tho these are someone else's babies and I'm not a future mom. :)  I wanna continue to follow so I can hear about all of your BFPs!

Excited today, the intended parents are coming in town tomorrow to see their first sonogram. We're all (I'm bringing my kiddos along) gonna have lunch together and then head over to the fertility clinic. I can't wait for them to hear the heartbeats :) I've already told my son he's on camera patrol. ha.

Hope all of you are doing well, I think about you daily.

Yeah, I'm so glad everyone is finding it.  I also posted a link to it in our old thread to make it even easier for everyone else to find.

@wishin42...I had something similar happen to me after getting BFN last week.  A friend of my husband told us his wife was pregnant.  For a few minutes I was really sad, but then I told myself almost the same thing you did...it will happen for me too!  Btw:  You wouldn't drive me nuts.  I taught developmental special ed for 8 years before moving into IT, so it takes a lot to drive me nuts...lol.

Hello everyone, I am in as well.

You know ladies when I went in on  Saturday for my bloodwork and US and it showed that I had produced follicles that were size 21, 21, 17, 14, 9, 6, and 7 I was very pleased.  The ladies in the lab looked at my results and told me that my doctor would probably want me back the next day.  Well, Saturday evening the Doctor's office phoned to say that they were sorry, I only had 2 good follicles and the doctor wanted me to go to do an IUI.  That just didn't sit well with me because I had only begin the stims 4 days earlier.  Why would my doctor just give up on me that easy without letting me continue the stims and be able to gro the 17 and 14.

I have been thinking about it since then and that was just not right.  So now I am scheduling an appointment with a new doctor that my accupuntist referred.  I could scream-I was doing well.... and so I thought.

That is a bit strange. I'm wondering why he didn't bring you in earlier for an US before the two follicules were over 20 ( I am certainly no MD though).  My Dr. requires there be at least 3 good follicules to do the ER surgery, and he likes them to between 15 and 20 mm in size.    I think getting a second opinion is a great idea.

I agree- that seems strange. Were they concerned w/ your hormone levels? I almost had to stop even though my follicles weren't ready b/c of my hormone level jumping so drastically between visits. Fortunately I didn't get sick so they let me continue.

My Dr also wants mine to be between 15-20. But another Dr in the practice was OK w/ a 22...I guess it depends on teh Dr-a second opinion never hurts!!!

Hoping2BAMom - I will.  Already made the appointment so we will see.

Wishin42 - I don't know what he was thinking pulling me off of the meds as he did.  I just think this office got a little bit too comfortable with me and I don't want no doctor to ever do that.  I have a phone consult with him coming up, I will keep you ladies advised.

I agree with wanttobepreg423, we need to all learn from each other.

I also agree with wanttobepreg423 that we need to learn from one another and what each of us have gone through.  I think I have learned as much if not more from talking with ladies than I have from either of the Drs. I've been to.  If nothing else, reading other people's experiences have given me better questions to ask my Dr.  I'm so glad you've made an appt already.  I'll be really interested to see what the new Dr. says.

I was thinking about the other two follicules just being at 21, I really think that my current Dr would have gone ahead with the ER.  I know my first Dr. would have.

We had our follow up consult this morning and I am feeling much better, even optimistic again.  This second cycle on paper looked perfect which is one of the reasons it was so devastating to get the BFN.  My Dr. said the only reason he can think that the embryos didn't implant is due to some kind of problem with the lining around the embryo (forget what it's called) that becomes the placenta and actually attaches to the uterine lining.  He said my uterine lining looked great, I respond very well to the stim meds especially for someone my age (38), and he said we had good looking embryos (blast).

I specificaly asked him if it was worth trying again for us and he said absolutely.  He strongly believes that IVF will work for my DH and I, and he reassured us that it takes most couples 2-3 times of IVF before it works.  He was also optimisitc about the FET. He says the embryo that we froze actually ended up being the best one.  He said it has about an 85% chance of surviving the thawing process (much better than I thought).  So my DH and I will be praying that this little special bean will be a strong, super sticky ONE!

I am so happy for you. I think you have a good doctor, now he knows about your problem so he will do more attention to it for the next try. I hope I will get some kind of answer like you.

Good luck your next try.

Wow you are so lucky you got a follow up appointment so quickly.  Seams my office you get a negative and then thats it.  I had to push for another appointment and then I have to wait 4 weeks.  After this next FET im swapping clinics.  I paid for the best "Professor" and so far ive done 3 rounds chomid, 2x IUI and 1 ISCSI and ive seen him once in an office and he always has a trainee nurse that does the talking and I get him for 10mins.  Sorry just a vent!

When is your FET booked in for?  Are you going to do it natural or assisted?

Interested to also hear who is doing accupuncture and or any other herbal treadments during IVF?

I have been recommended by a couple of my girlfriends who were successful on IVF attempt 1 to have an "adjustment" done by a chiropractor......im a bit of dubious that it can actually reallly do anything.....

thank you for you kind thoughts and prayers.
Pre implantation this time, my phamacy sold preconception vitamins, which are really to prepare the body for pregnancy. But you meant to stop them before embryo implant. Also All I drank was this berry herbal tea.
I was so careful to eat a really balanced diet this time, I also put myself in an very laid back state of mind. DH found it quite funny that i was so calm with situations at home that would normally stress me out. I truly believe that added up to my success.
It's  a shame that I ended up with flu, an emergency root canal treatment, and a silly cat that has decided to mark his territory since the implant. Plus he bought a mouse in the house last night. I hate mice : )
So really hoping for that heartbeat tomorrow. As my stress levels waiting for it have gone sky high LOL
