My list for Tww and Resting :
I felt it (TWW) is the toughest job in my whole life.
Reading , watching cartoon, comedy central and again reading. after one week of xfer I did baking my fav thing and It won't need much work.
Emailing my friends and relatives and Resting and praying!!!
in my TWW and during my bed rest, i watched "the secret" many many times. sat in my patio just gazing out and admiring my flowers, closed my eyes and concentrated on breathing and listening to sounds. Oh by the way, make out cloud shapes in the sky was also fun. LOL. most of all I watched comedy movies, talked a lot with my nieces to keep entertained and for baby vibes. filled albums with photos which were just sitting around still in the store envelopes, that was fun, remembering exactly when the pictures were taken. Thinking negative never really went away, it was there, but I was getting good at blocking it from my mind.
LOVED your list! The funny thing is I REALLY DO open my droor w/my "feminine" products & think, "maybe this month I won't have to buy ANYMORE"!!! LOL
it takes me a bit longer to shop too on the the TWW. since i do not have to avoid the baby clothes "corner" as you turn the first aisle in target. but oh man does it suck to turn that corner when AF shows up. so i race through the store then.
LOL laying here reading the list. I am on the TWW again, 2dp5dt. I have been reading a lot and watching tv. I told everyone ahead of time that I don't want any depressing news or stories told to me. I have been watching comedies and enjoying the quiet time :) SSBD to all!
Hi gals im officially in my 2ww its so easy to write lists but nothing i can do can keep me from going on the internet. Anway one thing everyone in the 2ww can do is have faith and think very positively. yesterday i was looking at a site that gives ideas on how to tell ur hubby u are pregnant. They are very interesting ideas if anyone is interested ill get the link. Im already thinking ahead so that test had better have 2 lines wen u finally take it after i miss my period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love u all and this month will be a month on miracles!
ha ha ha ha i swear i will not buy a new pack of pads this month so AF had better not even think about showing up!
1. i watch only happy movies.
2. and shows from when i was little like the brady bunch.
3. dog walking is good.
4. so is snuggling with DH and the dogs.
5. make choc chip cookies or cupcakes.
6. take a bag of "skinny" clothes to charity. stop being in denial.
7. treat everyone extra nice for the karma.
8. get close to a river/lake/ocean if you can and just clear the mind.
9. repeat step 5. LOL.
10. stare at the few maxi pads in the drawer and swear you won't buy a new pack this month
Thank you for the awesome list ladies!
I LOVE the idea of baking during the TWW. I think i'm going to start baking bread. I've never done it before, but how hard can it be?
I usually try to occupy myself during the TWW with working out, but nothing crazy heavy duty. I leave the crazy workouts for when AF shows up and I am MAD!
I also line up dates with my various girlfriends during the TWW that gets my mind off of things and keeps me away from my computer so I cannot obsess! Only prob is that going out for dinner all the time is pretty expensive! Guess I'm just gonna have to start inviting myself over to their homes!

Sue- I love your list! And I needed that, as I'm 6 dpo today and sitting at my desk feeling crampy. The hardest thing about distracting myself from the 2WW is that I CAN'T ESCAPE MY BODY! So, I agree, doing something physical helps put focus on other aspects about the body besides what that strange cramp could mean. :) Although, I recently heard that too much exercise can interfere with implantation, so long walks with my dog and yoga have been the way to go for me.
HaHa - I'm with Jen!! :)
My biggest distraction was going back to college. I kept putting it off because I "knew" I'd get a BFP any minute. I wasted 2 years! So now I'm pursuing a bachelor's in accounting and that keeps me VERY busy and is only going to help my family in the long run.
I love the idea of the long walks. We all need them and the doggies love them. I've also found it a great time to spend some quiet time with hubby.
Sue - my only hobby during the 2WW is googling symptoms, POAS, and obsessing...I just can't stop myself! :)
i like the ideas i start my TWW on Friday but ive already told myself to relax. Ive been taking long walks and i got some novels to read. I have friends ciming over to visit and spend a week so i clean up the guest rooms slowly( the more i drag the process the more i have something to do).
I also love baking so ive been coming up with new recipes of cookies and cakes.
Another thing to do is spend time with your girlfriends, They can either come visit or you could go to their homes. Have a good laugh and talk about fun stuff.
This helps you relax and not obsess.........go out with your buddies and have a good time!
i just did my first complete cycle of IVF after 4 failed IUI's and am now 3dp3dt. I'm just relaxing at home with books, music, movies and of cos the net. My hubby away on business also :( Honestly i'm too scared i'll do something wrong that will harm my chances of implantation. I'm prob being a bit paranoid hey? Good luck!
