Nokoutem, great idea to start a new discussion thread- I hope it works and everyone joins. The good side to this is that the pages will load faster.

For me, I was not one of the lucky ones to have "the signs or symptoms" of a possible pregnancy. This was hard, because initially I was extremely positive and hopeful about my outcome, but by days 12 and 13, I almost went crazy, because my body was just not reacting. But lo and behold, when I tested, I was. I guess everyone's body reacts differently.

I want to thank all of you ladies who are going through IUI and writing all of your experiences.  It gave me a great sense of comfort to find your post and know there were so many others going through the IUI process.  I went through my first IUI on 11/3 and 11/4 and got a (+) on the HPT I took last night.  Calling the doctor this morning to see what he wants to do next.  I wish all of you still waiting for results the best of luck.

Phew - I was wondering what happened to the other thread...Glad we're back on track.

Went to the doc yesterday and have 3 follicles on my left ovary (none on my right). Still too small as they are only 10, 11 and 12, but was told to come back on Friday. Hopefully 2 of them are big enough by then...but I'm not getting my hopes up...just taking it one day at a time. I'm hoping to have the IUI done by early next week at the latest and then I wait.

How's everyone else doing? Where are you all in the cycle?

d911grl - I sent you a note.

Hello Ladies!

I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to post again.  How is everyone doing today?

I have my follow-up with RE # 2 today to discuss things, maybe an action plan, we'll see.

Nokoutem, d911grl, SummerGrrl, how are you all doing today?

chica78: Congratulations on your bfp!  I wish you all of the best.

Thinking of you all...and feeling better that we found each other again....

Im new to this sort of thing, but I have some questions and most have been answered by reading post from others. 1st let me tell you all a little bout me. Im 29 ttc for a year have a 3y old daughter from IUI while taking gonal-f n clomid. This time I was cramping 2days before IUI (fNovember 13th) and then ALL day on Friday after the IUI? Is that normal? also how early can you take a HPT and get a correct answer? I took an injection of 10000 of hcg on thursday? I also took 5 days of clomid (3 pills and day) and 3 days of 150 gonal-f. my estrogen level was 85? i go friday for progestorone level. Im just not liking the 2ww. Oh and I have PCOS!!! so Im also taking 850mg for that~ I fear since it worked the 1st time with no problem I scared it wont work again so easily and I should just be happy I have my daughter.

Hello, ladies! How are we doing today?

Today, I am ok...not much cramping (as of now)...but as usual, I crave a nap. Every so often, I do get leg cramps and minor back pains, but that is it. Funny, but all of this starts around 10:30- 11:00 pm...which is also when I am very cranky.

Tomorrow, I am scheduled for another beta test as well as an ultrasound, so I will definitely keep you guys posted. This house thing is draining the life out of me and I am so stressed. I went to do a "pre-walk through" of our home...but I honestly did not enjoy it, because the settlement date was pushed back.

I hope everyone is well...Nokoutem, interwoven, summergrrl, apekat, annie, wolfgangsmom, summer0911, bfromthed, bfpwannab....I hope I am not missing anyone...sorry, if I did....

Keep the positive spirits up...ladies in their 2ww...remain calm and occupied during this time...and occupied is the key...and for the ladies developing a master plan, I continue to pray that you get a plan that will work for you. It may take a bit of research, but do not give it up.

Well, looks like my body has won the war- I need to take a quick nap before work. I will be on later tonight.

Blessings and baby dust (very sticky baby dust) to all!!!

apekat:  Congratulations on your BFP ! ! !  You are so fortunate to have received it on your 1st try.  I wish we all could have our BFP on our 1st one too.  See, I knew it, when you told me about the metal mouth taste you've experienced.  Isn't that so weird.  But hay, it worked and you got your BFP, yipee  ! ! !

Nokoutem:  Wow, I can't believe how much this thread has grown in only a little over 2wks and the thread has grown soo fast.  This thread is on fire.  Thanks for opening a new one.

d911grl:  I know you think you write too much sometimes, but I love reading your stories.  It's inspirational.

chica78:  Congratulations on your BFP ! ! !  And on your 1st try too.

All:  I have a Dr's appt. today for another progesterone shot, and to tell me my count for my 2nd beta test.  Next week is when I do my 1st ultrasound. I am know 6 1/2 wks.  I'm still taking progesterone suppositories till my 2nd trimester, I think.  Still thinking about everyone on this thread and my CB's everyday.  Lots and lots of Baby Dust to Everyone. . . .

bfpwannab: It was our first time doing IUI, but we did 1 cycle of IVF last November which didn't take.  The reason why we did the IVF was because the urologist my husband saw told us that my husband's "issue" could not be fixed surgically.  After the disappointment we went through with the IVF, we decided to visit a new urologist in January of this year for a second opining.  He told her the problem my husband had was fixable.  Surgery happened in February and husband fully recovered only to find out that I had a less than welcoming cervix.  So that's how we ended up doing IUI.

All: I appreciate the warm wishes from all.

Thanks:) Well I went today for my 2nd beta test also and they said the counts were great. They like to see the numbers double in two and mine more then doubled. I am on the progesterone suppositories til my 2nd trimester also. I go for my 1st ultrasound on Dec.1.

I am so glad to be able to post again, I was worried I lost all of you.

d911grl you made me feel better when you said you didn't experience any symptoms and you still got your BFP. I am a week past IUI and don't feel any different. I don't remember, how many follicles did you have for this last IUI? I only had one. I am glad to see everybody's updates again. I keep pushing on my boobs to see if they hurt, I know TMI, I just can't help it.

I was getting so worried when I would check and nobody was writing anything! Glad we have this new forum.

So I dont know what to think.....I had my first IUI on the 4th and started bleeding yesterday. Automatically assumed it was AF. But its been a lighter bleed.... Does this mean anything? I so bad wanted this to work the first try because of money but is there a chance I could still be pregnant? My doc wont do anything for me cause they are saying its just a period. Anyone experience symptoms like this? I am FREAKING OUT! Any comments would greatly be appreicated! Thanks.

bamagirl316: I had my first IUI on November 14th. I can't test until November 29th. I sent you a friend request.

All: Any ladies out there who have tried Progestrone vaginal suppositories I need to hear your experiences. I started them on Sunday, November 15th and woke up November 18th at like 2am feeling like someon was squeezing the life out of my uterus. Is that normal? I realize it's building up the lining, but geez! Any advice would be great.

Trying to stay busy with work. I'm exhausted by the time I get home so I usually take a nap. Noticed my boobs are sore, have headaches, cramping, bloating, some nausea, but I did take the HCG shot two days before IUI so I'm sure that's all normal. It's kind of a cruel joke. Trying to stay positive though. Sending SSBD to all of you!

Hi Ladies!

Went to RE # 2 for my follow-up with him yesterday.  We decided to move forward with IVF in January (we wanted to slow things down for the holidays and also work is crazy)
I have my IVF class on 1/6 and will start my cycle then as well.  He isn't putting me on birth control....not sure why, but he told me no.  He told me that I have only about 6 months left in my reserve...so at that point I will be entering menopause (because of the POF).  That was hard to accept, but after crying my eyes out last night, I am feeling a little better today.  Telling someone that they will be entering menopause at 32 is hard to accept.

I am hoping and praying that my eggs will be of good quality...I only need one!  He said that the egg retrieval will also give us more insight about me, and my egg quality. From now until then, I plan on being strict with my acupuncture, herbs and vitamin supplements to boost the quality.

LandM2009:  Those progesterone supposotories were a mess!  That is mostly what I remember.  It did give me bigger boobs (which I didn't mind because mine are small...sorry if it's TMI), and it also prolonged AF from coming around.  But they are good in sustaining pregnancies which is probably why your doctor prescribed them to you.

My CB's: d911grl, bfpwannab, thank you for always coming back and being a part of us.
I think of you all and pray that you and your little bean's thrive!

How are you ladies doing? Congratulations to all those BFP's! I will live thru you for now.

All the best.

Hi everyone!

So glad this thread is continuing! I am 2 dpIUI and it went well...now in the 2WW. I'm hoping for the best this cycle as it is my last on the clomid. DH's count was 116 million! The nurse was in awe over his count. LOL...so lets hope one of the 116 million finds its way!  I have been on DHEA for about 2 weeks now (doc put me on that to help with my FSH level). I feel really good on it, actually have a lot of energy while on it.  I need to continue with my acupuncture too.

Congrats to all with the BFP's this month!!!  Wish everyone baby sticky dust!!
