I have sperm count of 0

Hey,
New here so please forgive me if vague.  Wife and I have been going to the fertility dr and after a test on me we found that my body does not produce any sperm.  A little background.  I have a testosteroine def.  and was told that more than likely my non sperm count is related.  I am curious as to what treatment options,if any, are out there and what kind of tests do they do, to determine how this has happened.  The reson im asking here, instead of a dr, is, quite frankly, my health ins does not cover fertility medicine and we just cant afford the time off work much less the different tests to find out.  I guess my question is two part, they told me they do not belive it is a mechanical block, since i didnt even have dead sperm, so is it worth it to get the tests done, i.e is it something that can even be fixed?  Anyway i know im reambling so ill sign off now.

Thanks in advance
Basha

without ins, it might be cheper to go right to trying IUI with Donor eggs, as long as she has no problems.
