Positive HPT day 6 and 7

So this is my first round of IVF after 3 clomid attempts, 2 rounds of fsh shots and timed intercourse and 2 IUI's. I never cheated before the Dr's beta test but for some reason I did yesterday and this morning. I had my ER on 10/5/09 and my ET on 10/10, HPT 10/16 and 10/17 they were both positive!! I am scared are they accurate?

Hello.  after reading about your results, I started pacing back and forth trying to make a decision of testing myself.  Well I did it and i too have a postive.  It was faint but I believe I am pregnant because I wake up in the middle of the night with pain since my transfer on 10/11.  May God Bless you

Hi.  Did you do an HCG trigger shot before your retrieval?  If so, you should wait 10 days after your trigger shot before testing because the HCG can give you a false positive.  If I'm reading your dates correctly, it sounds like you are past that, so good luck to you!!! =)

I just got done with my first IVF. I had my ET on 10/2 and I tested on 10/9 and got a positive right away, then I tested again on 10/11 and got another positive. And my pregnancy was confirmed on monday. Do you have any symptoms?>?..I started getting symptoms a couple of days after the transfer. I asked about the hcg shot and false positives and the nuurse told me that it only stays in your system for 48 hrs and then it breaks into progesterone...so congratulations sounds like you are pregnant!!!!!!
