Hi Ladies;

Okay I just got back from my u/s and YESSSS there was a HEART BEAT.... It's at 115 and says I am 6 weeks 3 days, but Dr. says I am 7 weeks 2 days...  I hope that is good... I have my 3rd u/s on 10/31/2011...

PS: Amnio fluid has a VERY distinct ammonia smell. I am pretty sure you would have smelled it without trying.

Mine was  the same amount! Before you bleed, it is common to have  clear fluid or some other discharge to come out first. Your uterus is pushing the blood out, so the other typical pregnancy discharge will come out, too. I don't know if I had the clear fluid before my blood (because I saw the blood first), but I  DO HAVE clear fluid come  out alone (watery in consistency).  There is another woman who  had red blood ( and very heavy) when she reached the 12 week mark! Her name is "korrskat." Look at her journals under the title  "Had a big scare yesterday. " Everything is fine now and she is 28 weeks. It wasn't a hematoma, but I think after the ultrasound they told her not to worry. Some women just bleed throughout their pregnancy.
