Ok ladies so I've been ttc going on three years now. I know long time. I'm so happy I finally got really good insurance to go to a infertility doctor. This was a IVF clinic n IUI. I made my first consultation with my doc about IVF and where shooting for April. I'm so nervous this would be my first time doing this but in
Super excited!! But I was reading up on all the packets before doing IVF my doc gave me and there is a lot of instructions and j have to do some injections in pretty nervous about it but if this is what it takes to get a child I'll do it. I've been waiting long enough for a baby. My question is any feed back or positive IVF ?on there first try ??? and also how was the prep and the after part of the procedure? Please let me know. What is worth it??

We have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years and just completed our first round of IVF.  So far, I'm still rocking a BFP! We have our 6 week ultrasound this week. I was really scared about IVF because I hate needles (I've passed out getting my blood drawn before) and I always seem to react badly to hormones like birth control pills.  On top of it, I also have lupus which can complicate IVF and pregnancy.  We were really lucky to have insurance too.  Without it, we could never have afforded it.  Regardless of the outcome of this still very early pregnancy, I am so so so glad we got to try IVF!

It feels really overwhelming when your looking at all the medications, and at least two full cycles before you have your little embryo implanted. Plus I had fibroids that delayed us a month and then a cyst that delayed us another month.  Take it one day at a time (or one shot at a time). Know that when it's time for whatever the next step is, your nurse will walk you through it.  Before you know it, you'll be on your road to Mamaville!
