Thank you so much for clearing that up. The office just told me that she didn't think there was a test like that. I know I read it somewhere and know they didn't check anything remotely like what you stated above. The test you are referring to is a day 3 blood test. It usually consist of Lh, E2 and FSH. These tests combined can give an idea of ovarian reserve.
If you are being monitored by u/s, the dr knows if/when you are ovulating and whether or not the follicle is maturing properly. If your cycles are irregular and missing ovulation, a day 3 panel would be a good place to start.
