Increase Dose of Gonal F for Poor Egg Quality

I was told today to stop taking gonal F and I was diagnosed with "poor egg quality or decreased ovary reserves".  I've had 9 days of 150IU Gonal F injections and only three follicles developed.  There has been little to no increase is size (around 7, 8 and 9cm) of follicles from three days ago.  My options were given as egg donation or adoption at this point.

My question is can I try to increase my dose of Gonal F (say 200IU or 225IU) for a few more days to see if I just needed more synthetic stimlutalion instead of giving up?

ita17. Thanks for the comment.  I typically ovaluate around day 14 or 15 (according to over the counter ovulation tests) for the past 10 months.  Today is cd11 which is why I was shocked that my dr said stop with the injections.  I think alot had to do with the small size of of follicles and little to no growth in 3 days.

I'm going to try a higher dose over the weekend and see if I can get anouther u/s on Monday.

I would be asking the SAME thing!  Not totally sure how it all works, but I would at least ask.  Your Dr might not go for it, but women who do IVF are on stronger meds than that!  So I don't see why not.  The only thing I can think of would be that maybe for this cycle it could be too late.  Do you normally ovulate later?  If you do, then I would THINK maybe it could work.
If you can't then I would TRY next month to start off stronger & see what happens.  That way, you won't be questioning the "what ifs"
