Infertility In Men?

I know that I have asked a similar question recently and I appreciate those that answered me, but here is another one if anyone could help me out. So, technically, my wife conceived after we had been trying for a few weeks (definitely a shocker and a blessing), but unfortunately, she had a blighted ovum and ended up miscarrying. My question is, I have had a rectractile testicle surgery when I was very young (testicle wouldn't stay down and would go back into the groin occasionally, but always came to the normal position. Mesh was put in to prevent that from happening) and I had a hernia repair surgery. My mother asked the doctor if it would affect fertility and they said it shouldn't. Anyways, my question is, if I were infertile, would my wife have gotten pregnant in the first place, even though it ended in a miscarriage? I've been confused a lot lately and wanted to get some opinions. For anyone that can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Have a great day!
