Infertility?

TTC...been about 3 months and no luck yet...ive always heard that you should try for at least a year before consulting a doctor about fertility treatments...seems like a long time to me...thoughts?

I've heard good things about maca root. Our success came after taking vitex fruit supplements. We tried to conceive for 3 years, multiple medical procedures, surgery and 3 rounds of clomid were not successful for us. I took Vitex for only 3 weeks and was pregnant. I've heard a lot of other good success stories with vitex and it's relatively inexpensive. It can be purchased online or stores like GNC. Runs $7-15 for a month supply. I wish I would have tried it sooner. Good luck!

Im 28...will be 29 in a few months. I track my cycle on my own just by counting days and estimating when ill be ovulating. I could be wrong since im not using anything to know for sure

one thing you could have checked sooner and is easier to do is a sperm analysis, to rule out that as an issue.

How old are you? Are you tracking your cycle using opk's or taking your temp? Doing these help you to make sure you are timing intercourse appropriately, if you are doing these things and still not having any luck after 6 months you maybe able to start the process sooner, especially if you are over 35.
