Just got a BFP - Now I'm spotting lightly all day

Hi everyone, a little advice please.  Doctor office called today and said my beta numbers doubled (second beta).  Would you believe hours after this good news I felt a mild menstrual feeling and have had pink/brown spotting all day... Anyone else experience this and have things work out?  Thanks.

I would check with your doctor.  Something like this happened to my best friend and unfortunatley she had a miscarraige.  However, 5 months later she is now pregnant.

well, i did mean light, but that was yesterday.  Today, unfortunately, it turned red and heavier.  Stinks.  It is so early in pregnancy for me , I guess I just call my Doctor on Monday and see what they say.  There is nothing to do but just wait and see.  I find it hard to believe I could pull out of this one now that the blood has become red.

A lot of women think implantation happens all in one day. Actually, it can last for some time and cause spotting to a light bleeding. With the Hcg doubling, it is a very good sign.

I had the same experience and my nurse told me that brown spotting is OK since brown means old blood.  I know how stressful this is but you just have to hang in there till your first u/s.
