Well I still have no patience and took another test as soon as I got home from work.  And it came back positive.  I am very excited though still nervous since  we have had miscarriages in the past.

Enough2356 - That is pretty common so stay positive when do you go for your first beta?

Marianna - Glad to hear that you are feeling so great I have a good feeling.

mhv- thanks for the positive thoughts

Hope good news for all

Im feeling great actually.... it's kind of freaky because I had always had cramps and stuff. My breast are very soar but that is the progesterone. On Monday I had a very light pinky spotting that came out with the progesterone discharge but that is it. No cramps whatsoever, no raving hunger like before, nothing. I can fit in my pants because the bloadding went away which is nice and i have been very active, keeping busy, working and walking a bit everyday.

Next Wednesday will be here before I know it!!!

Good luck to you.
I am 5 days post transfer (3 day transfer)

Hi
Just checking in to see how you are doing.  I am pretty good, I cramped for a few days though it seemed to stop now.  I caved and took a test today and of course it came back negative ,  I wish I didn't do it but what is done is done.  I am pretty sure it was too early.  Enjoy your night.

Hi:)
I spent the day in Newport Ri. It was a very nice day. Yes, I told my daughter and she was OK with it. She just wishes I would adopt instead of going through all this.
Today it was another beautiful day so my hubby and i went for a nice walk.
Im home resting and watching some TV, enjoying my time with my daughter.

Thanks for asking.

I had a little cramping yesterday... only once.

I don't want to test before my beta at all. It will be difficult but I know it's better. I will wait for St Patrick to tell me the news... hahahahhahaha  whatever that is :)

Hi, just checking in with you to see how you are doing,  I feel pretty good a little cramping but nothing major.  I got an email form my RE today I was so excited I had 4 embryos to freeze.  This is my 3rd ivf and 1st time having some to freeze.  Gives me a little relief in case this does not work.

How was the ride to get your daughter did you end up telling her?  I ended up going into the city with a friend yesterday to see the broadway show Next Fall, it was pretty good,  Trying  to keep myself as busy as possible otherwise I will go crazy.

Do you think you will test before your first beta?  I will try not but I always cave.
talk soon

Hi Bobbie;

Yes. I had a 3 day transfer.

Im actually feeling good..... much better than any past IVF.... I guess my whole body is just numb:).
From the four eggs only one was really good and maybe another one but this is SO unpredictable... you just can never tell :)

Im doing Crinone (vaginal progesterone) twice a day.

My beta is on St Patty's day.... so I have this cute green brazalet that I got at Notre Dame University and Im wearing it for the 2ww!! hahahhahah!!! I don't know what else to do beside pray and stay busy. I rested today and tomorrow I need to drive to RI to get my daughter for spring brake so I will be busy. (She is 15 and asked me to get her a job because she will be bored at home for three weeks.She wanted to go on vacation but I can't travel oversees for obvious reasons. She does not know Im doing another IVF but I guess she will figure out tomorrow because I won't be able to help her carry all her staff to the car:)

Was your transfer a 3 day transfer?  You have 4 chances that is great... Stay positive, I know it is hard but we have to.  How Have you been feeling?  I have been very crampy since the retrieval, and had a bad reaction to one of my medications (prometrium) was dizzy so they had me stop it and now I have to start the progesterone injections which I hate.  But hoping it will all be worth it..
All positive thoughts

Hi Bobbie;

It went smooth. They put 4 embryos but only one was 8AG (best quality ever), the rest were two 4 cells and one 3 cells. You have better chances since they transfered at blastocyst stage.

My beta is on St Patrick's day!!!! I hope is a lucky day. That night I have an Irish music event.

Thank you for the information it does give me hope.  I can't wait until next Friday

So I feel so selfish how did your transfer go?  How many embies? and when do you go for your 1st beta?

This is exciting we are on pretty much the same schedule.
We are going to both get positives I feel it...

Dear Bobbie;

This is what i found for you to give you tons of hope:)

Blastocyst Development

By definition, a blastocyst is an embryo that has divided into hundreds of cells and is composed of two parts. The outer sphere of the blastocyst is called the trophoblast. The inner portion of the blastocyst is filled with fluid. Inside the trophoblast, there is a clump of cells called the inner cell mass. The inner cell mass is the portion of the blastocyst that actually becomes the baby.

Blastocyst Transfer

Only a small percentage of embryos will reach the blastocyst stage. This self selection of the embryos allows the embryologist to pick the embryos that are most likely to produce a pregnancy. When transferrring blastocysts, it is not necessary to transfer as many embryos to maintain a high pregnancy rate. This reduces the risk of multiple pregnancy and therefore increases the chances for a couple to have a live born healthy baby.

Many experts believe there is another reason for the higher pregnancy rates seen with blastocyst transfer. In a normal "in-vivo" (in the body) conception, the embryo does not reach the uterus until the blastocyst stage. If we were to place an embryo into the uterus at the 8-cell stage (after only three days of embryo culture, it is deviating from the normal body processes. That is, the 8 cell embryo does not belong in the uterus at that time. Transferring the embryos at the blastocyst stage is more "physiologic".

Studies now demonstrate conclusively that the chance for pregnancy and the risk for multiple pregnancy are reduced with the use of blastocyst transfer. This is true for all age groups.

Well here is the update I had two early blasts transfered.  Still confused what that mean "early blastos".  There are 5 we are waiting on to see if they expand so that they can be frozen,  We will not find out until Monday,  Has anyone had to wait like that before and had good luck on the freezing?  I go a week from tomorrow for my 1st beta.    I really want to have some to freeze, this entire process is getting to be  a lot.  I was hoping for better results after all those eggs but I still have hope.  POSITIVE THOUGHTS for all.....

Well i am glad to see a little humor going around, it makes things a little easier to deal with.  All I can say is when there is a will there is a way,  I know you will be able to come up with the funds needed to have your baby.

I will keep you guys posted...

I'd have to get people to help me bake, cause I can't! ha ha!!  Plus, it's butt freezing cold here.... wouldn't get much foot traffic at a park. : )   Besides, the biggest problem is, no one knows I'm doing this, so it would kinda give it away ; O }   I'll just have to think of something else.... hmmmmm... what can i do to raise $$ but not to have people ask why i'm raising it.... I guess i could sell my plasma...

The bake sale is actually a great idea. See if a school lets you do that and call it "Praying for a baby, please help".... you will be surprise! or go to a park or wherever kids and moms are around!!! or after a sports event in your neighborhood!!

Looks like you have a real great chance at IVF. So excited for you.

Mariana- I pray for you & everyone else on here too.

I am starting my first IUI & hope I can be as successful.  I did do one IVF but am now switching to this. (Story in journal)  I am lucky where I still have IVF coverage for 3 1/2 more but figured I would try this first.
