What time did you take the test? Some of them actually say if you read the fine print to take between 10am and 2pm and i have heard some people say take them even as late as 8 pm. Maybe you took it too early in the am. The shot should do the trick. Good luck.
Well I took the test about 5:30am which is a little earlier than I normally take it. I feel like I did ovulate though and my BBT went up to almost 98 today (day after the procedure). We are keeping our fingers crossed!!
Im sure you just took it too early then. Good luck.:)
Thanks for your comments..maybe I'm just a "Nervous Nelly"! I'm somewhat relieved because my BBT is giving post ovulation readings. We are keeping our fingers crossed!! Will know more when I go for the progesterone test on April 2nd. :)
My level was 34 on our day 21 test and I was indeed pregnant with #3. (That's her in the picture) hope things go well for you.
That's wonderful!! I know you're a proud mama!! Did you conceive all 3 with IUI? Got any more tips...I am all ears!! My doctor didn't really detail the purpose of the progesterone test and I was too anxious about getting the procedure done to ask.. How many times have you done IUI and did it work the first time for you?
My first two were natural but had to have progesterone supplements to keep my levels up. Number three we did injectibles and we were going to do iui but I responded so well to the meds we got to do timed intercourse instead.(I know tmi right?? Lol) they do the day 21 test to see how well you ovulate. With medication, they like the number to be over 15. So a high number can indicate a really good ovulation.
Oh, ok!! That's great that you responded so well! It's wonderful to hear how working so closely with doctors can really help! They have my progesterone test scheduled for day 24...wonder if they know that? I am so bloated after this IUI..really makes one feel icky!! But it is worth every minute of if to have a child. I lost the first one at 21 weeks and that was awful. He was conceived naturally. We tried and tried and finally decided to see a specialist since we are both 40. I'm glad we did! You have been a wonderful friend and I don't even know you!! :)) Thank you so much for listening and responding!!
I had two m/cs before I had my first son so I know how heartbreaking it is too. Infertility is so hard too. I went through 3 drs all who told me i was in early menopause, i finally found an re who agreed to do more testing and was able to help us. But all of it was worth it. I heard iui can make u really bloated and feel yuck. I am also glad I can help. I hope you get the positive results you want. :)
