Good to know. I'll have to let my wife know this. The only reason I have an iud is cause my periods were bad. Really bad. Hopefully we are good to go once we have our appointment
I had my Marina removed in February. The period I had after was NOTHING compared to the next two. It's called the Mirena crash, so I've read. It take a few months for your body to adjust and get back to normal. I know it's hard, but be patient and let your body detox. I've read that some people get pregnant right off the bat but miscarriage is a factor because the lining of the uterus isn't thick enough. I'm 4 months post removal and final having normal cycles. Good luck!
