Other's experience?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a little over a year now.  So far, it appears poor sperm morphology is at fault.  I've completed my first cycle of clomid and went in for an ultrasound today to look at my follicles.  There were 10-11 of them with 4 being ideal size and 2 being close to the right size (.20-.25 cm).  While it is good to know follicles are present, this increases our risk of multiples, so we decided to cancel the IUI and try a lower dose of clomid next time.  I'm wondering how many follicles others have tried before IUI? Do any of you have partners with poor sperm morphology alone? Has IUI been successful?

I know how you feel. My husband and I have been TTC for 10 months now. We found out that he has a problem with motility. My doctor has sugested Clomid with IUI. I havn't start my cycle yet and am kind of nervous about it. I hope it happens for both of us. : )

I always had 1 or 2 of decent size and triggered each time because we were okay with multiples. Unfortunately, none of my IUIs took. Just completed first IVF cycle and I'm 5 weeks pregnant. No magic number. Everyone is different. I just had to trust my doc and follow his advice.  Good luck to you!
