Ovulation issues after abortion 10 years ago

I had an abortion 11 years ago (when I was 16) and now I am trying to conceive with my husband. I have been diagnosed with POS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which basically means I am not ovulating.  I am on metformin and most recently added femara.
Is there a link between my abortion and not being able to ovulate now? Clearly I used to ovulate. What happened?

thanks!!

I can't imagine that being the cause. I had one 8 years ago and I am almost 9 weeks pregnant now. I would definitely look into treatmentsfor your condition. Best of luck. :)

I don't think so. The abortion should not affect your ovulation at this point. The PCOS, however, will. Hopefully, the metformin/femara combo will work for you! Good luck!
