It could have been, it can take anywhere from 6-12dpo for implantation to occur, so let's say it was 12dpo you implanted (at the latest, that would put you implanting about sunday-monday, and that could have been the pinkish spotting), from there it can then take from 3-5 days (some longer, depending on the person) to get a positive on a hpt. So if it took you 5 days at the latest to show positive on a hpt, that would be 17dpo you'd get a positive, some women it takes up to 20dpo to get a positive, so I'd wait until 17dpo and test again, if it's negative and no AF wait a few more days and test again, good luck I hope you get your positive!!
I TTC for 3 years to get my son. He is now 1. I had implantaion bleeding at 9dpo and a +hpt on 10dpo. Thats why I am so confused.
Every pregnancy is different though just because you had it before doesn't mean you will with this one, and just because it took you 3 years with your son doesn't mean it will this time either! I conceived very easily with my son, and he's now almost 3, he was conceived in about 3 months. I'm currently TTC and am having such a hard time tracking my cycles, I'm sure it's going to take me much longer! So with pregnancy's and cycles you can never count on repetition unfortunately! :(
Thank you for your response. I have an appt with the clinic on friday.
