It is still worth a shot...you could always try again. Many times, it just doesn't happen the first time. Another alternative is to use donor eggs.

I don't think the chances are any different one try from the next. They would be the same odds as the first time you tried.
I spoke to RN and the doctor believes that unsuccessful cycle is due to age and embryos likely being abnormal due to increased maternal age. What are the chances that the second ivf will be successful (based on the doctor's reply there is not much he can do to increase the chance).
Most docs will say that some fail and some succeed, and won't change their protocol, but don't hesitate to ask if he thinks you had enough estrogen and progesterone, or if he thinks there is anything else that might be changed.
