Slow rising HCG levels

So I found I was pregnant May 6th. I believe the first day of my LMP was April 14th. I’ve been experiencing minimal spotting, dark tint in color as if it’s older unnecessary blood shedding the uterus in preparation. It’s lightened up significantly to almost none. Doctors are concerned with my hCG levels though. They are as follows:
May 6th 190
May 9th 282
May 16th 481
I am about to leave shortly for a hCG repeat, but the doctor told me to pretty much expect a miscarriage, regardless whether they’re rising. I’ve lookked around online and from 4-5 weeks along, my ranges looked normal. Any hope?

Hey. Unfortunately, it didn’t go too well. My levels only went up to 614 that Saturday 5/19 and this past Wednesday it was only 748. I had my OB appt Wednesday as well, which they were unable to find anything. At 5.5 weeks, she said she should of been seeing something by now so she was leaning more towards ectopic. On Wednesday night while I was in class, I began bleeding bright red. I went to the hospital to make sure it wasn’t a tubal rupture and my hcg went up to 952 in less than 12 hours. That was a significant increase in such a time that I was only getting every 2-4 days. I had some hope that maybe it was starting to double, but when I woke up this past Thursday afternoon, I passed a large tissue-like clot. I’ve had a light period-like bleeding since. Thinking back now, I realize I began the process of miscarrying in class. I believe the baby stopped growing a couple weeks ago which was why they couldn’t pick it up on the scan. I have to go for a repeat hcg today, which I expect to now be significantly lower. I have to follow up with the OB Tuesday. Thank you for your concerns.

Yes, have hope.  Please have hope.  Your levels ARE rising.  You deserve a congratulations for your pregnancy!  I am sorry you are faced with this stress sincerely.  I hope it all works out.  Have you been trying for awhile?  I'll be thinking of you during your HCG test.  hugs

Thank you so much! I’m nervous as I probably won’t get the results until Monday. No I wasn’t trying it was a bit of an oopsy, but it’s a blessing in disguise and I’m honestly terrified to lose it now. Thank you for the wishes. Hoping this little stinker amazes me with levels. I’ll keep you posted once I know.
