So frustrated, need some support

I am just so frustrated with ttc  again after a m/c in december. It wouldn't be so bad but something keeps happening every single month to mess my cycles up. When we got pregnant last year it was soo easy, I got a positive opk and we bd'd the next day and I got pregnant! Then we lost the baby and are having to start again. the first month we tried, I got a cl cyst that made me nervous but that cycle was fine and right on track. Then the next month, I got a cold so my o was 5 days late and then I got a big cl cyst that hurt really bad for like a week and it ended up making af a week late (but with cramps and back ache for that week). Now I am (finally!) on my next cycle and my digital opk shows high fertility for 4 days now but still no peak! I always know right when I get an lh surge too because I get cramping on one side and then like an hour later I get the surge. I'm wondering if i'm not even going to o this month because I probably have that stupid cl cyst. Is anyone else going through this? I just want a normal cycle!

Best of luck to you ! My husband and I have been TTC for a very long time. I do get my LH surges like clockwork on CD14 so my ob put us on clomid this month.(100mg) She said maybe it will help stimulate the eggs more. We shall see what happens. TTC was not this hard 20 years ago for me lol! I have a 20 year old daughter.

No one said ttc could be this hard! Good luck with your ivf! Try not to stress, as impossible as it sounds, I can't count how many people have told me they've gotten pregnant as soon as they quit trying and worrying!

Courtney, I completely feel the same way..I haven't yet been through the whole thing yet, haven't even been pregnant before, but I'm about to start stims for IVF, and I am in a constant state of thinking about all the things that could go wrong, and I don't feel like I will be confident at all until i'm holding a healthy baby in my arms.
Good luck everyone. :) xo

Thanks! I'm so excited that I got a smiley, it's almost like i got a bfp, since I thought I may not even ovulate this month.

Ok just an update, it is my 7th day of getting a high fertility reading with no peak and I *finally* got a peak on it this afternoon! I tested with a regular opk strip this morning with fmu and it was very negative, almost no visible test line and still just high on monitor, and just now at 7 pm I got a surge on both! So if this happens to you, don't worry, that o may still come!

Exactly, that is one of the most frustrating things is they said the first 3 months after I would be more fertile! Ugh. Yes, cl cysts happen every time you ovulate. If you become pregnant, the corpus luteum is what produces progesterone until the placenta takes over. If you aren't pregnant, then the cl cyst is supposed to go away and then af starts. In my case though, rarely it will just get bigger and instead of going away, it can mess with hormones and make your cycle go crazy.

I am going thru the same thing! I had a MC back in Dec on the 11th. We were told to wait 2 cycles. I checked my OPK anyways and I ovulated in Jan,,not in Feb,,ovulated in March but we kinda missed it and then we tried this month and Im in the 2WW period now but I feel ...nothing.  I also had a CL cyst when I was pregnant in Dec. My doctor said those are normal? Are they?

I know you are frustrated and esp when you read that you are supposed to be fertile after a MC. Ya right! Hang in there (((hugs)))

Yeah I understand, I overanalyze and stress about every little thing now. After the mc, I just dont have that same feeling that everything is going to be ok, and I dont think I will ever have that feeling again until I have a baby

No I over stress about everything so all I can really do is tell myself to calm down n stay positive... Not worry so much. Ya mcs take a huge toll on you n your body n my mind n heart are set on having a baby...

Thank you, and sorry for your loss. I just wish my cycles and hormones would go back to normal so we can try again. Going through the miscarriage was hard enough. Are you doing anything to help with stress? I do yoga and that helps.

I had a Mc in march with my first baby... I'm also struggling to have another but no problems other than low progesterone. So I understand how you feel. It's tough...good luck! Try staying stress free that would really help
