It is VERY normal to spot on the pill. . . especially when first starting it. My doctor told me to expect it, and sure enough, I spotted off and on for a couple weeks on the pill. It is simply our bodies adjusting to the new amounts of hormones.
If you are doing IVF, chances are you couldn't get pregnant on your own, so I really just think it's the hormones.
Hi, I think we are going to go through our IVF at the same time. I am starting with my BC pills on May 15 (hopefully ) CD1, After that I get on Lupron shots, which will be the first week of June. Currently I ma on Clomid for this cycle, but I really don't think I will get pregnant on my own so mentally I am ready for IVF
Did you start the pill on the first day of your period? That was how it worked with my protocol which can whack out your body a bit since you are talking the pill when you are not technically supposed to - make sense? So normally when you get your period you would be on the sugar pills, but you are taking the active pills. So it is likely that your body is just reacting to the weird hormones. But it could also be implantation bleeding, people have been known to get pg on the pill, however unlikely. Best bet - call your doctor. You want this IVF to work so even though it totally stinks to wait another month, it is better to figure out what is going on so that you have the best shot possible. But in my opinion it is just your body reacting to the hormones from the pill.
Good luck!
It could be ovulation spotting (not sure if it can happen this late) or it could just be break through bleeding from the bc. Good Luck I hope that it fixes it self!:o)
