Trigger or Me???
Hello everyone,
So on 7/31 I was given a trigger shot then IUI on 8/2 and well curiosity got the best of me yesterday(7dpiui/9dpt) & I took a HPT ($tree) and it was a faint BFP...I didn't get too excited cause I knew it was probably the trigger... Well today after work (24hrs later) I took another one and it was still a faint BFP(same as yesterday)..and when I say faint I don't mean barely visible..it's noticible!! But anyway, so now I'm wondering since it's been 10 days past trigger can it be a true BFP?? Or still just the trigger? Wouldn't it have fadded from one day to the next?
I would love your opinions please!!!! I of course plan on testing with FMU tomorrow.. But just curious what others think? I haven't told DH yet...not until I know it's real!!

WOW, you must be REALLLLLLY fertile to be able to get pregnant!!!! :) In reality, we only need, one lil egg, & one lil spermy = bb!!! Thats amazing! I bet you get pregnant w/out IVF!!!

I tested again just now held my pee for just 4 hours, couldn't hold it anymore! & it was BFN, which AGAIN I completely expected it! I'm 9DPO like you, & w/5 out of 6 pregnancies I NEVER got a + testing before 12DPO NEVER. & I've had 3 kids.
I guess I just like feeling CRAZY!!! LOL & I wanna keep pregnancy stick CO.'s in business in this tough economy! hahaha!
BUT I am DONE for reals testing early, I feel like I got it out of my system (I think!) & I plan on buying 2 more Friday to test Friday & Saturday, cuz if I'm NOT then I want to get off of the prog. so AF can come!

My trigger shot wears off around 10 or 11 DPO. I have had false BFP on 9 DPO and BFN by 11. Good luck!!!!!
Well you've sure been through enough! I pray you get your well deserved BFP soon!!
I too had my first DS(13) with no problems...(only had sex a few times & BAM).. Then I try & do it the right way..get married & have kids... And then I'm diagnosed with PCOS! I don't even O on my own! So go see a RE & find out my DH has a low sperm count too! My RE recommends IVF w/ ICSI to have any chance at conceiving! But before that of course you have all kinds of testing to do...so in the mean time we do a IUI with 100mg clomid & trigger...I develop 4 great follies! DH post wash was only 1 mil so RE says it's mostly likely not gonna work..(but planning on doing IVF anyway) Well turns out I'm pregnant!!! I have DS in Nov 07..
Sooo, we decided to try 1 more time before DH gets out of the military.. So we go back to the same RE & he suggests to do what worked last time. I get AF July 4th start 100mg clomid day 5-9, didn't produce any follies, then he says my lining is still good so instead of waisting a month just start femera right away for 5 days..still no follies! My lining is still good so then I do the clomid again with gonal-f & finally get 1 follie so we do the IUI... DH post wash was only 1.5 mil (but its .5 more than last time) & here I wait................... LOL
So I tested again this morning..it's still BFP....BUT it's a little lighter than yesterday! :(
BUT I am only 9dpiui so it's still super early! I guess that's why they tell us to wait to test huh???

& my skin is acting up, & normally don't break out before AF, if I do it's usually between AF & O
Also, my hubby's sperm count is great! 1st IUI 54 Mil. & 2nd IUI 41 Mil both after 2 wash's. SOOOOOOO if I DON'T get pregnant, its ALL ME!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrr
But I am hoping to get a BFP in a few days :)

I have 3 kids naturally w/no problems (ooohhh, those were the days :) & since I turned 40 in June & in this past year alone, I have had 2 mc's 1 was blighted ovem, one a missed mc @ 11 weks, lap surgery w/removal of left ovary & left tube cuz of a giant CYST, & a DnC in Feb. cuz of my missed mc. (a little back round LOL)
So last month I did for the first time Gonal-F 150 for 7 nights, then triggered & we did timed intercourse. I had 3 big follies matured & a big fat ugly BFN! :<
This month I did the same but they were growing a bit faster so I only did it for 6 nights, triggered then 24 hours later had 1 IUI, then another 24 hours later a 2nd IUI.
The first one on 8/1 I had not O yet, then about 3 hours or so after I began to have O pain that lasted about 8 hours, not as bad as the month before thoug. I had 2 follies for sure, maybe 3 that O'd.
The 2nd IUI I had obviously O already, but they could tell it had not been that long (probably 12 hours before or so)
I am on that compound vag prog. supp.'s 400 x2
My gums have been sore & my boobs have more veins & they don't "hurt" but I can feel them...make sense?
& I just feel like I''m pregnant, but it could totally be the prog. IK my trigger is out, last month it was out by like day 7 or 8 too.
I don't think we will be doing another round of meds again, so this just might be it :-/
It's so time consuming, & mentally & emotionally consuming, not to mention no insurance coverage makes it not too cheap.......IK it's much less than IVF, but 2 months of this & it's probably been easily $3,000. & when I have good insurance that stinks I can't use it! I might just find another RE that is part of my group...IDK.........

No, my RE doesn't do any further testing on me until I get my BFP (or AF)..

Did you use the trigger shot also? What meds did you take? I used clomid 100mgs (failed) Femera (failed) then clomid again combined w/ gonal-f (finally 1 great follie) & of course the wonderful trigger shot!

We are on the exact DPO & I broke down today too, cuz I feel like I'm pregnant (could be all the stuff I'm on!!!) & I took the Early FR today & all I got was a good GHOST line :( BUT 8DPO is WAYYYYYY too arly & I knew it, but just was soooo stinken curious...darn it! LOL
But I'll tell ya, it has made me really crabby seeing that BFN, I wish I hadn't taken it!
Maybe you are pregnant (I hope so!) but I would get the real ones cuz I've heard on these forms here, that the $$$$ are not very reliable.

ps I'm going to TRY to not do my 2nd HPT til Thursday, (hmmmm, don't know if I can CONTROL myself!) I'll be 11DPO, which that is early too! I've always gotten a + from 12DPO + never before.
