Trying to conceive

I had a TR and this is my first month TTC. I always have had a 28 day cycle. I had my period on Nov.2.09 And thought I should ovulate on Nov.12.09, but I actually ovulated on Nov.21.09. (I take my BBT and LH surge tests) I should start my period Nov.30.09, but I'm wondering if since I ovulated a later than I expected will my period be off if I'm not pregnant?

Best of luck this month, and let me know how it goes!

Thank you for your advice. This is only my first month trying to conceive. TR is a tubal reversal. I had that done Sep.28.09. It does make sense and I guess I'll be waiting until the first couple of weeks in Dec. Thank you.

Normally, the first part of the cycle (follicular phase) can vary in length but the length of the part of the cycle after ovulation (luteal phase) will remain the same.  This means that if you normally get your period 14 days after ovulation, you can expect to get your period 14 days after ovulation with this cycle too.  So, yes, your period will come later than normal.

I hope this makes sense.

BTW - what is a TR?

Have a great day!
