Trying to concieve

Hi I am a 30 year old lady. I have been trying to concieve since 2 months. And for the very first time we had unprotected sex in these two months. Last month I got my periods and after that we tried calculating my ovulation time. I am late with my periods this month with 7 days and have not got it yet. I performed the pregnancy test 3 days before and it showed negative. Are there any chnaces that I might have concieved? Or miising periods is normal when we have unprotected sex for the very first times.? Please suggest

I would definitely wait a few more days and test again, or go to the doctor and get a blood test, those are more accurate. Good Luck!

I didn't test positive until I was 2 days late and it was very faint positive.  I would  test again.  Get some cheapo dollar store tests.  They work great.  Btw,  I conceived first try after timed intercourse.  I'm 39 yrs old and 29 weeks prego.
