Update, Please help!

Hi for you that havent read about me. I am 24 trying to have a baby. have never had a period until i seen this last doctor in January! he started me on provera10mg (1 for five days) so I am having a period but wasnt ovulating, he put me on clomid 50mg for a mth then uped it to 100mg for a mth. then in may did blood work, still no ovulation so june he put me up to 150mgs of clomid. Tomorrow i go to do blood work to see if I am having ovulation. so my question is what if I have ovulation and miss it? will I continue to ovulate once I get a positive for ovulation?

Hello,
A complete evaluation is extremely important before advising the exact treatment. Clomid is very useful in inducing ovulation in women with ovulation dysfunction. The success rates of conceiving are high in women under age 35 compared to older women. If the patient does not ovulate on the starting dose, Provera is usually given to induce a period, then a 100mg dose of Clomid is tried and dosage is gradually increased. There is significant variation in how long it takes ovulate after using Clomid. Few women may ovulate much later almost as late as two or three weeks after the last clomiphene tablet Discuss your concerns with your attending doctor. I hope it helps. Do keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
