Very sad and scared

I had my first Beta test 8 days after my FET with 2 embryos, My Beta came back at 36.8. My nurse told me anything over 20 is confirmed preg. I then went today for second Beta and it decreased to 30.4. I know have to go back on Monday for another test. She said to be optimistic these levels can drop for numerous reasons. She said both embryos may have been present at first but know only one made it. Has anyone ever experienced this and had a healthy preg.??? I am having no bad sx's(cramping, bleeding) I am very sad now because I thought I was preg.

This happened to me this april. My first beta was 82 and the second beta 2 days later was decresed on 76. I didn't expect that. The doctor told me the same that maybe 2 implanted and one didn't make it. To be honest i dind't belive him. In my case a decrese in hcg was never a good sign. I had 3 m/c that started with a bad hcg.
I started bleeding 1 week later. I don't mean to scare you i know how you feel right now i have been there many times but a decrese in hcg is never a good sign. Hcg is supossed to double not go down. I wish for you that everything goes well. Take care Jenny

Thanks a lot, I am having a real hard time right now, maybe because I jsut got the news this afternoon, hopefully tomorrow will bring a better day. I know right now I ma technically still preg. I am just so down I do not feel like  I am. This was my husband and my first IVF with ICSI for male infert. We drained our account and have a loan out. I want this so bad but if it does not work we could not do this again for a while. Sorry to be such a downer.

It  hasn't personally happened to me, but I know what the nurse said is definately true! I've heard of that happenening, that both will implant but one will vanish. Have faith sweetie, I know it's hard to be optimistic, but you ARE pregnant! Let's just be hopeful that everything is ok, and that fact that you have no side affects of a m/c are awesome! It'll be a long weekend for you full of worry, but lets just pray that Monday brings you great news! Be sure and keep us posted, we'll be praying for you!
