Vitamins and Clomid

I am starting clomid next month and I have been taking a multi vitamin in addition a little extra Vitamin E, C, B12, B6, selenium, & magnesium. Will the vitamins affect the clomid?

The vitamins are fine but I would skip the multivitamin and do the prenatal with the e, b, c, selenium, and magnesium.  You can also add fish oil and a folic acid supplement.  Once u get pregnant discontinue all except prenatal, folic acid, and fish oil.(all according to my re) good luck.

I know some herbal supplements, especially vitex, can interfere with clomid, but I wouldn't think the vitamins you're listing would. To be on the safe side, though, I would either call your doctor and ask OR just skip the extra vitamins and go with a plain old prenatal vitamin this cycle. Best of luck!

They should not affect the Clomid.  Have you been taking Prenatal vitamins as well?  My doctor recommended it since they give us the extra Folic Acid we need for our future "babies"
