What Does my Trans-vaginal Ultrasound Mean? Can I Get Pregnant?

Is polycystic right ovary bad? Or does it have negative effects when trying to get pregnant?

Appreciate if someone here help me understand fully the result of my TVU.

The uterus is anteverted with regular contour and homogegenous echopattern measuring 4.53x4.25x2.78cm. The cervix measure 2.79x 2.89cm with distinct endocervical canal and homogenous stroma.

The endometrium is isoechoic with a thickness of 0.42cm
It has uniform echogenicity non defined endometrial midline, regular endometrial border and negative color flow.

The right ovary measures 3.32x1.89x1.63cm. It is normal in size with normal echotexture.

Thanks for concern people here who could possibly help me understand these TVU results.

Some women with polycystic ovaries can have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, but others don't have that - you'll need to talk to your doctor about that.

If you don't have PCOS, this can just be a normal thing that happens, and may not affect anything. Why did you get the TVU? Were you having pain? Trying to diagnose something while TTC?

The only thing that stands out is your uterus being anteverted. That means it tilts forward. Unless it's tilted really far, it doesn't mean much. If it was extreme, they probably would have mentioned that.

The endometrium thickness varies depending on where you are in your cycle.

The first thing I'd talk to your doctor about is the possibility of PCOS. You may not have it, but if you are trying to conceive, it would be good to know.
