What complications can I expect after getting pregnant from egg donation?

Hello, I just got pregnant from egg donation and I am a little scared about possible complications.  Are there any things I need to watch out for?

Hi dear. I understand your concerns. I used to be aware of too. Specific steps of IVF treatment may carry risks, including:
Multiple births. IVF increases the risk of multiple births if more than one embryo is implanted in your uterus. A pregnancy with multiple fetuses carries a higher risk of early labor and low birth weight than pregnancy with a single fetus does.
Premature delivery and low birth weight. Research suggests that use of IVF slightly increases the risk that a baby will be born early or with a low birth weight.
Miscarriage. The rate of miscarriage for women who conceive using IVF with fresh embryos is similar to that of women who conceive naturally (about 15 to 25 percent) but the rate increases with maternal age. Use of frozen embryos during IVF, however, may slightly increase the risk of miscarriage.
Ectopic pregnancy. About 2 to 5 percent of women who use IVF will have an ectopic pregnancy — when the fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, usually in a fallopian tube. The fertilized egg can't survive outside the uterus, and there's no way to continue the pregnancy.
Birth defects. The age of the mother is the primary risk factor in the development of birth defects, no matter how the child is conceived. More research is needed to determine whether babies conceived using IVF might be at increased risk of certain birth defects. Some experts believe that the use of IVF does not increase the risk of having a baby with birth defects.
Stress. Use of IVF can be financially, physically and emotionally draining. Support from counselors, family and friends can help you and your partner through the ups and downs of infertility treatment.

Hello, thanks for your advice.  We opted to have only one embryo.  I was really scared at the idea is placing more than 1!  I know it is riskier, but we will just pray on it.  Ours was fresh too, but we have three more frozen at the clinic.
Omg, good job, honey! Having three more frozen for future is awesome news. I'm here for updates too)) How are you doing? Any specific symptoms for you? Any observations? I have nothing to cmpare with but I believe de ivf pregnancy is the same as oe ivf or a natural one..What do you think now?
Hi dear, I feel so bloated, so uncomfortable.  I vomit a lot too.  But I guess all pregnancies are.  I would have wanted oe, but I am sure I will love this baby just the same.  We are just happy that the clinic we went to are not too complicated when it comes to de.  We went all the way to Cyprus, to a clinic called Dunya IVF.  The donor is anonymous too - I prefer it that way.

Hm, well.  You could get ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Some  women suffer from bloating, pain and cramps, mood swings, irritability, weight loss, and weight gain.

There is also, unfortunately, a connection to receiving donor eggs and many more pregnancy complications. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/news/10936458/Risks-of-donor-egg-pregnancies-revealed.html

Women do what they need to do but there are always risks.

Hi thanks much for the link.  This will be very helpful.  I hope I don't have too much complications though.  But I'm just so happy for the baby, I really look forward to having her in my arms!
