any success stories with my history?

hi, i am 38y/o ttc my 1st child for 14 months. had m/c in 07/09. i ovulate every month on my own around day 12. every test is normal, including 2 normal hsg. i did 4 months of clomid with 3 iui and no success. i am starting my first round of gonal f tonight at 150mg. i am scared, anxious, and now more depressed than ever at the thought of never having a child. the doctor suggests 2-3 rounds of injectable then my only option is ivf (which i cant afford to do now). has anyone had any similar stories with success as i am having a very hard time finding a silver lining in all of this?

Hi, I am 42. I have a 17 yr old from a previous now remarried and we wanted a child. We ttc from day one. We got pregnant 3 times but m/c at 6.5 weeks. I am currently 8 weeks 5 days pregnant natural cycle. Everything looks good so far. The baby is growing and has a strong heartbeat 160.
I did 4 IUIs with no success we were going to do IVF, in Jan 2010, but AF did not show up. I do not know how to explain it other than we did not try it just happened. So it is possible.

thanks guys i just keep hoping that this will work. i don't think that i have ever prayed for something more in my life. i just did my second injection (which creeps me out) and i do another one tomorrow night then back to md on friday to check and adjust the dosage.

I know its hard to m/c but u now since u carried the baby u knw u r able to get pregnant. so sooner or later it will happen wish u luck

I wish you luck. I am in same boat & will be starting IUI as soon as period comes.....anxiously waiting & due now.  Where is it?
