bilateral hydrosalpinx

I have bilateral hydrosalpinx in both tubes according to HSG and lap done yesterday. I have no histrory of infection,PID, or surgeries. During lap the doc said he could not find any endo so what could have caused this? Also I am urinating bluish-green urine. I know this could be from the dye but is that because the tubes are severly blocked. I do NOT want to do IVF because it is very costly. I have no other scaring anywhere but small fibroids.  Is there anyway I can just have surgery and have a succesful pregnancy and if so how long to I have to wait after my laptaken out  to have the fluid (which he said he didnt drain because my insurance didnt cover it).

Thanks a lot for the response Shanie. This has been so depressing for me because I want to become pregnant now. I have wore out my searches about hydro and it seem like it's worse than endo because everyone with hydro tubes ends in tubal removal and IVF to achieve pregnancy. I'm 30 and even though the doc says "your still young", time goes by and I need this now while we are both stable. I just wish I had some answers. IVF seems great but some people do these rounds like the fee is chicken scratch. Were talking 1 non guaruntee round for the price of a car. I DO NOT want my tubes removed and I really hope surgery will be enough. My doc didnt say it was severe just mild at both ends. Do you know of anyone successul in getting prego after surgery? I'm so sorry about your news. Do you know if you have endo for sure? Did your Lap show it? I think if you have one tube open your odds are greater than with both blocked. I'm scheduled to review my case in a month so I'll find out. Please let me know what you find out. Hopefully this time next year will be on another forum for new parents : )

I'm glad you asked this question.  I had my HSG about 1 month ago and was found to have 1 fibroid in the uterine cavity and 2 fibroids in the uterine wall; also one blocked tube and my cervix and uterus is "retroflexed" or otherwise "turned backwards"...anyway, I'm 37 and my husband and I are trying to conceive because after my annual exam, my doctor told me that I need to start with family planning right now in order to avoid having trouble down the road.  I had been having a lot of heavy periods and cramping so she thinks the fibroid, which is relatively small, is the culprit.  Besides that, because of the bleeding, I have severe anemia and have had two blood transfusions in the past 2 years and may need another transfusion at the time of the fibroid removal.  Well, now I have these "road blocks".  I'm scheduled to have the 1 fibroid removed at the end of October.  My doctor hasn't discussed with me about the blocked tube yet but during the HSG she seemed confident that this wouldn't be a problem but didn't go into details.  I will be following up with her on October 4th so that she can discuss her plan of attack for the surgery and at that time she will also discuss the blocked tube.  She did say there was some scarring of the tube.  I have a twin sister with endometriosis(sp) so my biggest fear is the potential of scarring after having my fibroid removed and the fact that the block tube seems to be the result of scarring.  I'm new to the forum and I don't know the abbreviated terms yet so I feel a little lost when reading some of the postings.  I feel overwhelmed with the whole idea of everything all at once and I feel disappointed with myself for taking time for granted and ignoring my all my symptoms and now, I'm under all this pressure to make things right so that I can conceive.  Hopefully, we both can get some kind of direction, guidance, and support while we go through these trials of life.  Good luck to you!
