kindly try the laparoscopy first before the IVF to check the tubes clearly
I was diagnosed with both fallopian tubes blocked .I didn't think surgery would help so I'm in the process of starting ivf stims. Prays and fingers crossed across the board.
I'd a friend who had a similar operation , she did a laparoscopy in her stomac and she conceived naturally after 3 month, her doctor said that it seems the operation had a good effect on her uterus ..hope we get a baby dust after all these medecations
I'm glad it worked out for you in the end rjsmom.I do believe (mostly!)that everything happens for a reason and in your case it did as you have a child with someone you love. Though having said that, I'm not sure what my reason is atm! We have a strong marriage, we are financially ok, we are settled and ready to have a family. I'm sure many years down the line I'll look back and see that reason, but right now in not so sure, which just makes it all more confusing!
I went to a ER. 3 days of pain on my right n it just getting worst. At first i thought it was just AF coming to town. Got my AF n went to my specialist to see if it was cyst causing that pain. No cyst. It came to a point, it hurts to walk. Yup. Taking a mth off. Just letting the body recuperate.
I had a hsg also n it showemy tubes were also blocked. I went for a lap after I started experiencing severe pelvic pain after the procedure. It turned out I have endometriosisn my tubes were twisted together due to the lesions. Ithe recovery fro.the lapwas ffine, I went back to work 3 days later. I didn't get pregnantfor many years. It actually caused my divorce but when I met my new husband I was preg within 2 years. Don't give up hope, I did then 2 years later I was pregnant. I never ever thought I would have a baby n now he's 5. I wish you all luck n my thoughts n prayers are with you.
Sorry too if my spelling is horrible, I can't see what I'm typing, lol.
please try to get relaxed this off month before re-trying..and who knows , pregnancy might came naturally. I'm really amazed how the GYN had dignosed the appendicitis ?
Oh no! Sorry to hear that. Life does throw these curve balls at us a little too often.wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get trying again.
Guess what. I just had another laparoscopy surgery. Nothing for fertility. I got appendicitis. Lol. Within the time span of 3 mths i had 2 surgeries. So i had to take a mth off from trying. Just my luck.
i liked your blog about the endometriosis journey and i was surprised that I did the same steps , but you put in your profile that you are a male ?
Thank you do much for ur comment, I will check out ur blog. I'm sorry you have had such a difficult time and am keeping everything crossed for you that IVF is successful.it will all be worth it when you get ur baby and ull be blogging about ur child's development. X
The same happened to me... it was a very traumatic experience, getting into surgery simply from an exam. During the Laparoscopy they found out my tubes had little scarring but were open without fluid or inflammation. They didn't removed them, four years later and I am still not pregnant. I am just undergoing my first IVF procedure. My doctor now says if IVF doesnt work I might have to do another Laparoscopy.
It is heart breaking but issues on the fallopian tubes in the majority of cases will at least half your chances. I know it is hard, believe me I have tried EVERYTHING to avoid IVF but here I am.
Check my blog: http://tiredofendo.blogspot.com/
But keep your head cool.. I went down with depression as I wasnt expecting such diagnosis... medicine now have progressed a lot and many things can be done, but the most important it is to keep yourself sane!!
Thanks icelemon! Good luck! X
It took a week. The first 3 days i was sore. But after that im fine. Doc will give u the necessary meds for the pain.
What was ur recovery like after the laparoscopy?
I had laparoscopy done. One of my tube was blocked and inflamed. Got rid of it too.
