i was also on metformin (glucaphase) the blood pressure med also starts with a m the pharmacy actually had to order it since it it very old and not that strong but does wonders if u are pregnant! i actually got ovulation testers and took 4 kits in a row and never ovulated i decided not to use them because i was even more depressed but i was on 50mg each time at least 6 months and it must have kicked in! to be safe the doctor said have sex every other day - every third day around ovulation time which i had no idea so i would have sex a few days after my period every 2-3 days for at least 3-4 weeks to be safe (very stressful) but like i said it worked on the med when i wasn't doing that so who really knows good luck to u please keep me posted!!!!! are u on metformin as well? and another thing plain robitussin taken around a few days before ovulation can help it lets the sperm in easier try it i did this also look it up it might help u!

No I know what metformen is but this is called clomid that I am on its suppose to help produce eggs and help with ovulation I have heard a lot of success stories with it so I am trying for 3 months if not I am doing more test but the stress of trying can be such a emotional roller coaster. With this med I am afraid I will miss ovulation. So my fingers cross for all!!

I think the drug you are talking about is metform (not sure of the spelling) but they give it to people with pos to help there incelin levels. I was on that trying to get prgnant and we were going for our 2nd cycle of ivfand we were just waiting for my period to start. Well was I not already pregers. I had tried for 7 yrs  to get pregnant so I truly know how you all feel. My mirical baby is now 4 and we have been trying since she was born to give her a sibling with no luck. Each month  another  hart break. My time is ticking  and I dontwant  to have a child past 35 so I only have 1 more year till that deadline. Thanks and good luck to u all!

Wow you have been through a lot! I do try my hardest to relax because I do know its not good to stress but way to hard not to some days I do really good but other days its way to hard! When you where on clomid did u know when u ovulated? I am afraid I will miss it. Sounds crazy huh. My doctor told me if I don't ovulate she is putting me on 100mg. She is not monitoring me she just wants me to come in before my next period with my chart to see if I did ovulate. Thanks for responding!!

i was trying for 3 years as well i had taken about 6 cycle before it worked and i took at least 6 for my second one as well i was a bit older then you 32 and 35 so you have age on your side they stopped the med on the 6th cycle and i had given up and that's when i found out i was pregnant and with the second i had done at least 6 cycle and was scheduled for a pap before i could get more so i was not even on the med for 2-month until i could get the pap after which i had been waiting  for my period which didn't come i asked for a med i have used in the past to get induce a period and was told to take a pregnancy test first and by the grace of god i was pregnant! so both times it was when i had not been hardly trying, so maybe try to relax and see what happens hard to do even harder for me to say as i would like a third and still do not have my period my son is almost 15 months i wish you the best and would never take conceiving a child for granted.

yes i had two children on clomid and also had high blood pressure if it stays high after conception there is a med you can take while pregnant (cant think of name something with a m) but pregnancy sometimes lowers it. good luck!
