I have PCOS and have been on metformin for 3 years now. I have not had any success on conceiving but it has regulated me.
I'mI on 1500mg of metformin a day. I finally got my period dec 4th and go in on the 24th for blood work to see if I ovulated
I was diagnosed with pcos 4 years ago, I was prescribed metformin 500 mg by my doc and then after a month I was pregnant. i am currently trying again but no luck yet., metformin didn't work this time. I'm currently on estrosense,evening primerose and vitex. My periods are now regular and I'm ovulating so hopefully soon I can share my good news
I have psos and after the meds I produced 19 eggs 15 fertilised 1 embryo put back xxx 2 frozen xx in 2ww good luck huni xxx
PCOS are not hereditary, and a generic problem these days for many women, due to various reasons, and it can be treated easily for most, my friend had PCOS, she was able to conceive with minimum help from doctor, with PCOS, you may not ovulate every month, and your egg reserve will be good, and so not to worry much.
