failed vasectomy reversal

2 years ago my husband had a vasectomy reversal and after a semen test 6 weeks later we were told that it had been a success and they found numourous sperm, since then we have went to our local doctor as we hadn't concieved and she sent him for another semen test which this morning has came back as there being no sperm found! has anyone else heard of this happening? do you think we should go back to the hospital my husband had his reversal for a 2nd opinion?

You need to speak with your surgeon right away.  There are medications that your husband can take to possibly alleviate any swelling that may be occuring in the tubes.  If he tells you there is nothing he can do, get a second opinion.  It doesn't always work, but it is definately worth trying.

The same thing has happened to us and we are no nearer to finding out what to do other than go for the op again - more money and more stress!
I will let you know if I find anything out
