getting pregnant

I've been wanting to get pregnant, but I don't know when I'm more likely to ovulate and be more fertile. My last period was June8. That's when I started my period.
Need help. I have sex with my husband every day trying to get pregnant.

Hi, futuremama2014,

Not sure if you've seen our Apps page, but one of them (MyCycles) sounds like it might be helpful to you.  Here's a link:

Ive known women who got pregnant during there period. Im a strong believer that ovulation differs from people. Just have sex everyday! First of all its fun lol and since sperm can live a couple of days in a perfect environment. You can also do every two days since the quantity of sperm isnt always best. Its the quality. My hubby n I had sex every two days as after a year of trying we went for testing and found out my hubby has low motility and i dont ovulate every month....special case i guess took us 18months to conceive

Honestly I wouldnt stress over ovulation days. Ur having sex everyday that gives u the best possible chance. Stress has been linked to problems getting pregnant. If u over think it and worry it wont happen. Enjoy ur partner be happy and positive and u should conceive. Take folic acid supplements experts recommend u take them when trying to conceive to prevent birth defects. All the best with getting pregnant.

You will always ovulate 14 days before your period, if you have regular cycles its simple to calculate your ovulation date to the day but if you're cycle can be a few days off I would check your cervical mucus. Learn what fertile mucus looks like. Remember to look for SHOW, soft, high, open, and wet and that refers to your cervix and its position/appearance. Right before you ovulate you will have a stretchy generally clear thick mucus that you can stretch between your fingers without breaking, looks like an egg white. These are ways to tell when you're most fertile. My boyfriend and I have been together nearly 9 years now at this point and have never used any birth control except the 5 months of mirena (I have a clotting disorder so I can't use any normal BC) We've always used the natural family planning method and only our pregnancy at 16 years old was unplanned, the other two were planned and it only took one month of trying for each. It's a very reliable method :)

If your last period was June 9th, you should've already had another one in July, are you late?
