hsg test

hello everyone i am new to this site. my husband and i have been trying to concieve for a year now. its been a long run. today i had my hsg test done, the procedure was not at all difficult. i felt some pressure but it only lasted for a few minutes. although i was vey nervous i felt pretty good after i took the test. i took advil 500mg an hour before the test. anyway i wanted to know if their is a good chance i can get pregnant after the test. ive been reading the comments on here and some people say after the test their is a chance you can get prenant. so hopefully 2011 will be our year of getting pregnant.

Sometimes it can help because it does clear your tubes! I needed Femara and Ovidrel to get pregnant, and it was 2 months after my hsg. So yes I think it can help!

I am having mine done on Monnday. Glad to hear it was not too bad. The reason people sometimes get pregnant after the test is HSG might "flush out" tissue or other debris from your fallopian tubes, which could be the cause of your infertility.
