So we are going to start the process soon for ivf and I was wondering how many eggs you had transferred and what was your outcome...

We started our process in January with a donor. My donor provided 12 eggs, 10 fertilized, 2 blastocycsts were transferred, 3 made it to freeze. We saw two sacs last Wednesday and we go to hear the heartbeats this Wednesday. Best of luck to you!!!!!

I'm doing a DE cycle in a couple of months and have gone back and forth over the 1 or 2 issue, for me in the end the deciding factor was that this will be our only go at it and we have to travell so far (30 hr flight) so I'm putting 2 back and hopefully it will work, the problem is there are no guarantees and I've read so many times of people putting 1-3 back and none stick then the odd one of one sticking then some that put back only 1 and it sticks, I also think it depends on how many you have at the end as well, good luck :)

I had 11 eggs retrieved; all fertilized; transferred 2 on day 5; and out of the remaining 7, 5 made it to freeze. I got pregnant with one little girl, who just turned 3 last month! Best of luck with everything!

We had 6 eggs, all fertilized, and 2 made it to the end. They transferred one blastocyst, and it took. We have one frozen one left.

I was happy when they only transferred the one, because we had a little scare, when my numbers were higher than expected, and the mentioned that one they put back could have split.

Thankfully, we only have one in there. I am all for the best possible outcome, which for me was a singleton. While twins would have completed our family all at once, the potential issues and negative outcomes, were something I didn't want to deal with, the risks are higher with multiples. My cousin and his wife ended up loosing both babies, when then were born prematurely, so while I rolled the dice with our first 2 (failed) ivfs, this last one I was happy with just one.

I am going through my first IVF cycle now...I had 9 eggs retreived, 8 fertilized and 3 embryos made it all the way through.  I had one embryo transferred last Sunday and froze the other 2 for later.  I'm in my 2ww right now and have my 1st beta (preg test) on Tuesday 2/5!
Good luck!!!
