letting nature take its course :(

Hello ladies me and my husband have been trying to conceive for over two years.  Saw my obgyn for six months on 50mg clomid with no luck. So we were sent to a fertility doctor where after the second visit fount out our insurance does not cover a fertility specialist so been seeing him for around 5 to 6 months. Started me out on 2.5 leterzole took that two months did not work, so up the does to two pills a day for two months did not work. So long story short me and my husband have decided we can not pay for insurance and then fertitly bills also, so we are going to let nature take its course, I pray to god everyday that my dreams will come true. Please pray for me I want a baby so mush and would love it with all my heart. Any comments to get me through this or something that someone has tried that I don't know of will be real helpful. Good luck to everyone

I am sorry your insurance doesn't cover infertility. I wish all insurances did. Other things you can try that are less expensive than fertility treatments are the infertility diet, infertility yoga, and a something that is bit more expensive but still cheaper than fertility treatments - infertility accupuncture.

I have been trying to follow the diet but it does get tough at times. Basically they want you to eat a lot of vegetables and fruit and nuts and seeds, organic beef and free range chicken only (no hormones), avoid diary, avoid white flour, wheat and refined sugar. I also purchased an infertility yoga DVD online which I try to do everyday and I am starting to really enjoy doing it. If you ever decide to spend the money on infertility accupuncture, do your research and make sure you chose someone who specializes in infertility.

My insurance covers fertility treatments but I decided to also start doing the accupuncture, diet and yoga after reading the Infertility Cure by Radine Lewis. I plan on doing IVF in early 2012 and I feel like this is helping me prepare my body and increasing my chances of success.

Good luck and I hope you get pregnant very soon!

I've been ttc for a year and a half. After 12 months ttc we did our 1st IUI, got a bfp but than had a miscarriage. I did my 2nd IUI in late August 2011 which resulted in an ectopic pregnancy and I lost my left tube. If I were a few years younger and didn't have the new tubal issue, I would hold off on the IVF and just try the diet, yoga and accupuncture for 6-12 months. I'm also afraid that if I wait to do the IVF my insurance will drop fertility since it seems like insurance coverage is getting worse every year. Again good luck. I am keeping my fingers x'd for you!

Hello ladies

I live in the UK and am 32 years old, and luckily have been given 1 IVF and 3 IUI's on the nhs.  We have been ttc for almost 2 and a hald years now with no luck at all.  Have had a failed IVF in June, and had our 1st IUI on 11 Nov...I am due to test on Friday this week but I am too scared, I'm pretty sure I know the outcome as we had several issues with the cycle with it nearly being cancelled last minute!  And I'm starting to get all my usual signs too :-(

ntate; best advice I can give is def acupuncture if you can afford it.  We pay for 2 sessions each month and my lady immediately knew my hormones weren't quite what they should be.  After several tests and bloods at the hospital they confirmed I have a low egg reserve and my partner has low morphology and motility of his sperm.  But still they say we could fall pregnant naturally.  My lady treats my hormones and has given me sooo much advice, like having a low GI diet in last 2 weeks or cycle so your sugar levels dont increase/decrease rapidly, not over stretching as this can disrupt implantation, lots and lots of fluids, no caffeine/chocolate/smoking/alcohol, and sex every 2 days from day 8 of your cycle.  I hope this helps, best of luck to you - I know exactly what your heard and head is telling you....sometimes our bodies just need an extra helping hand and a LOT of good luck.  Any other questions just give me a shout!

renny320; I can't even begin to imagine how you guys feel, you have had a terrible time :-(  Chin up....I'm told so many times to try stay positive (so hard I know!!!) as good vibes etc help carry good vibes along your body/womb etc :-)  I just keep telling myself good things come to those who wait....I know we will all make fabulous mummies one way or another.

Fingers crossed and best of luck to you both :-D
