progesterone levels after ICSI/IVF
Hello everyone, we have been trying to conceive for 4.5 years and finally we got ICSI done for the first time and it worked. My egg retrieval was 12th july and transfer was 15th july. first hcg came 208 and on 4th august it was 4880.
doctor was concerned about my progesterone p4 level and prescribed cyclogest 400mg vaginal suppositories 3 times a day. my progesterone level now as of 6th august is >40 ng/ml (as my lab writes, they did not mention how much greater than 40), my labs normal range for first trimester is 9.3 to 33.2. I just wanted to know if this hight progesterone level is ok or an indication of something wrong?
also, please let me know if I should keep taking cyclogest 400mg 3 times a day?

hello SanjivaniWanjariMD, thank you for the help. I have an appointment with my doctor on 29th August, before that I cannot meet my doctor. I was just wondering if I should keep taking cyclogest 400mg pessaries 3 times a day as I have heard that progesterone pessaries are dangerous for fetus. Is it true?
