Hey Jess!
We did our ER this morning. Unfortunately, I only had 6 eggs, so no hyperstimulation for me. Our "issue" was DH's low sperm motility; all of the tests done on me showed no signs of problems. Of course, the only real cure for sperm problems is IVF, but it also makes me optimistic that we won't have as many worries with implantation/miscarriages. I am a little down that I didn't produce more eggs, but it only takes one so hopefully we will have at least 2 to transfer.
DH actually had to go back after a few hours this morning b/c his sample was pretty low. But, they were much better the second time around (no clue why??). Since we are doing ICSI, they really only need 6!
How was your doc appt this morning? Did you get your ER date? What drugs are you taking now? I'm sure they can tell you how many follies you have and if there is a worry of hyperstimulation. Even with 6 eggs, I still felt a little uncomfortable towards the end. I'm sure you are going to be fine
Good luck!
I WENT THROUGH FROZEN SPERM WITH A DONOR. THEY PERFORM ICSI ON FOZEN SPERM OR LOW MOBILITY. ALSO INCREASES CHANCES OF FERTILIZATION. WE ALSO WENT FOR ASSISTED HATCHING SO EMBRYO IMPLANTS BETTER AND FASTER....I AM STILL WAITING TO GET BT TO SEE IF I AM PREG BUT I DO HAVE ALL THE SIGNS
GOOD LUCK
