MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
The exact cause of your symptoms can be confirmed only after a complete clinical examination and work up. It is normal to experience some pain and discomfort after an IUI.These cramps usually subside and resolve on their own. If clomiphene has been used to induce ovulation you should be careful since few women may develop adverse effect to this drug and cause ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome. There may be some gastrointestinal side effects from using progesterone after an IUI .These are constipation, nausea, vomiting and bloating. It is best to report these side effects to the infertility clinic. I hope it helps.
Best luck and regards!
